Lots of light, good windows, two exterior doors. Nice layout. Nothing claustrophobic in here. I like this one!

Nothing I would change here, except for one big thing — I need stairs, not a ladder, so for me we’d have to add a couple of feet and also extend the staircase a bit into the kitchen. A couple of feet will perhaps add room for a pull-up dining table/desk on the opposite wall! Very nice though as is for many people! I like it!!

Well, the stairs already extend into the kitchen with one of the steps over the fridge. While the ladder is only for the second loft, which seems to be set up a library/reading nook, and it’ll take more than a few feet to add a second staircase…

Though, a few more feet could be used to add a desk. A metamorphic desk could be made that turns into stairs or you can consider one of the many pull down attic stairs. So it doesn’t have to take up floor space and still let you gain that functionality.

Alternatively, folding stairs that can fold flat against the wall could allow access to the second loft when no one needs to use the seating area…

While the extra few feet would allow the storage stairs/bench to have proper rise to tread ratio to make it easier to use, as it’s a bit steep as is…
