This is the story of Phil and Cynthia and their newborn. Now, they are a growing tiny house family. And because of that, they’ve decided to build a second tiny home to best suit their needs. And we think it’s great!
We’ve seen lots of stories and situations of people who’ve grown out of their tiny homes… But what if they could have just built a second tiny home? Well, not everyone has the perfect plot of land to do this. But could two THOW’s be a suitable long-term solution for a family? This story is brought to you thanks to Living Big In A Tiny House and Phil and Cynthia.

Why They Built A SECOND Tiny Home…
With the first house, you would be immediately struck by all the beautiful artistic and natural elements… This has now become Dad’s place.
Isn’t it beautiful? There’s a loft, lots of storage, skylight, custom windows, and even an office space.
The kitchen is simple, beautiful, and functional.
Here’s what it looks like when the baby is playing 🙂
Their second tiny home is 16-ft, has shingle siding, a private outdoor shower, and is filled with character.
This is Mom’s place to zen out with her newborn 🙂 Meanwhile, Dad can get work done in the other tiny house.
“The real artist is nature,” Phil says in the video. The baby crib was custom-made by Phil.
This tiny house also has its own bathroom with a bathtub and sustainable composting toilet…
And of course a cozy sleeping loft…
They both have such character, don’t they?

Your thoughts on the use of two tiny homes?
What do you think of the idea of using two tiny houses on wheels to create a better solution for let’s say a family or even for a retired or even a working couple who may want to have a little bit of their own space? It’s a pretty worthy idea to consider, isn’t it? The issue, as normal, would most likely be “where can I do this?”
But rest assured, it is possible but most of us do not have the option at the moment, right? Please be sure to enjoy the FULL VIDEO (above) so you can see and learn about their entire homestead. It’s pretty awesome!
