  No, it is a tent, very, very expensive one I’d bet from their other product prices. I’d bet for the price you could get a hard sided one.
  And the pics by a solar company where the solar panels are hanging half under the canopy and the table one, neither of which make much power as the cells are in series so shading one kills the rest.

    All the GoSun products do add up, making this pricey at $34,250, and there are definitely cheaper options if you don’t want all the GoSun products but they are trying to show they cover just about anything you may need and it serves as a platform to demonstrate all of them even if you’re only interested in certain products. While the actual Camp365, without the GoSun products, still starts in the 20k’s price range and has features like adjustable axles with side extensions that can double as a bit of a toy hauler rack for bikes, etc.

    However, a camper is whatever vehicle that is used for camping and recreational travel. So anything can be called a camper if it fits that usage. Doesn’t matter if it’s a tent to hard sided structure or even a THOW…

    While it’s still a double wall lining, made from Aqualon (marine grade) fabric, structure, for a little air gap insulation value, with most of the structure being aluminum framing and laminate flooring. So not quite that simple of a structure…

    The solar panels still work when shaded at just reduced output, and all the panels are moveable and thus depends on the user for best placement. Just putting the panels out in the field just doesn’t make as good a photo op for marketing and there will be people who don’t mind reduced output as long as it still meets their needs and the panels are only part of the power system as it also has batteries and inverters. So it doesn’t rely on continuous solar power and it can still be connected to other power sources.

  I mostly agree with James because GoSun don’t use common cheap materials of mass production.
  Yes, it isn’t cheap but looking on other types of tent type trailers they are in a similar price range of their basic version. When adding all the comfort of their accessories you are ending up at a similar amount but don’t have the versatility to use the interior space.
  Unfortunately they don’t offer an off road version of the trailer as others do. Putting this into the account they are pricewise indeed on top.
  But the idea is great and offering all the off grid equipment to customize to your needs saves a lot of hassle.
