It is beautiful and I love the bed platform, but it is way overpriced.

I agree with you Marsha, way over priced. This is supposed to be something people are building to make sure they don’t have a mortgage, but some of the prices amaze me. I would love to go tiny, but cannot afford it.

Diffently I agree, I’ve been wanting to for awhile but it seems a mortgage should upon any one.Especially if your single and/or on disability. I’ll amit though this one is nice and way over priced!

Debra, People build tiny for lots of reasons.

Marcy, mostly to cut down on expenses and while this is a nice thow $60,000 is a bit high for what there is. Good Grief the windows do not even have screens — who wants a home full of bugs??

Also there is really no place for clothes — guess that would be okay if you lived in a nudist colony, but many of us do have clothes and shoes that consist of more then one t-shirt a pair of jeans and a pair of tennis shoes..

But as always a very nicely done unit.

I like the house and especially the bed area. Wouldn’t it be nice to have some kind of room decided for privacy? I’m a wheelchair bound person who is looking for a tiny home and see tons with the loft so it’s refreshing to see one with a bed on the main floor. But the price is a little steep. So good luck.

I rarely make comments about cost but this seems on the high side for a previously lived in THOW. I do like the shingles which probably weren’t cheap.

I’m not sure why people find $60,000 to be over-priced for something like this. A comparably-sized and fitted-out RV would be $60,000 or more and would be nowhere near this quality. If you’re looking for something cheaper you need to be in a position to build it yourself. Construction and trades labor are the most expensive part of the equation.

Was this built by Zyl Vardos?

Yes Zyl Vardos built this. This is all hand crafted. You can have screens made for the windows. He custom builds these so you can make changes Check out their website.

Yeah, price tag is kind a high. However, it seems to be all hand made.
This windows are great for ventilation purposes and easy to clean.
I would use a murphy bed in the center to avoid the corridor like kitchen by putting the bathroom to the other end of the THOW.

It’s a Zyl Vardos home. He creates works of art in my opinion. Worth every single penny that I personally cannot afford lol. I would sell my soul for this exact Zyl Vardos home:)

I agree with Julie. The Zyl Vardos homes are indeed works of art. High quality, attention to detail, and delightfully whimsical. This one seems particularly welcoming and cozy. And, I love the dog. He IS included, right? 🙂

Now this is the kind of tiny house I sure would love to live in permanently. Everything looks just right in it’s place. Yup! My kind of THOW. Thanks for sharing Michael!

I love this house! Abel makes the best houses ever. He hand-builds all the windows. I’d buy this if I weren’t already in my ideal house, which just became a little less perfect by comparison. Nah, only for a minute. This is just so delightful. Abel, if I ever inherit, you’re the one for my next house.

I love this layout! I don’t know why everyone is calling this tiny house expensive. I’m on Long Island and you can’t buy an outhouse for $60,000. The craftsmanship and quality is well worth the price.
