Never been a fan of yurts, but this one hit it out of the ballpark. Not only would I want to stay there, but I would love to own it exactly as it is. Many times you say, “It’s nice, but I would do this…or that. This one has so many incredible decorator and design details, I would love to know who the creator was. An owner-designer, a professional builder-designer, etc?
There is so much to compliment I don’t know where to begin. I love the bamboo, the shower, the kitchen, the counters…..easier to say there nothing I don’t like. It appears to me that whoever created this enchanting environment has had lots of experience. I just completed my first 10×20 cabin, and I thought it was spectacular, but this one humbled me. Thank you for the experience.

Except, technically, its not a yurt. A yurt consists of a roof and walls that are made out of fabric.
It is however, yurt like, and it is admirable, with the exception of the distressed furniture.
Hi Brenda! I am so so glad you liked it so much!
It’s definitely something new and different. I rather like the distressed table and chairs. But with the kitchen outside I wonder what they do in a bad storm?
I didn’t include it here, but if you look on the Airbnb listing there’s a picture of the deck surrounded by tarps for inclement weather.
Ahh ok that makes sense now 👍
I love the yurt. It’s adorable and pretty. Looks cozy, too. Where is the yoga studio, sauna, and pool? In another building out back (no pun intended : ) ?
Yes they are on site but not in the yurt itself, from what I understand. Loved the pun 🙂
