The flooring is reclaimed chestnut. What do you think of this layout? Just the right amount of space, isn’t it? Inside there are plaster walls with straw accents. And the front door is recycled from a cafe in Baltimore!

Now THIS! This is the bomb. Wicked good! Re-use. Make it all work. Look at that perfect solar placement; gets sun even in the winter and that view works for me too. It’s a great simple layout – two shed roofs make it work. Nothing not to like about this. It’s refreshing (sorry, but getting more true everyday) to not see a “tiny house” for $432/sq.ft. ($70,000/162) I hope this movement can keep SOME of its adherents looking to reduce their overall footprint. Thanks to Alex for having this kind of thing in here.

I adore almost all tiny houses, but my vision is for a simple box-shape, painted
that elegant blue that has some black in it, and inside a downstairs bed, and a desk and multiple
shelves for books, and storage for LOTS of papers, a couch, small but well-equipped kitchen, and
small bath. On the small size, but I don’t know about sizes. Know any such tiny houses to show
me? Kind of a big writing office, with other stuff all around it. 🙂

Sweet space! I love all the reclaimed wood and the door. Good layout, as well.

Well if a full sized bed was used in the nook, MAYBE one could get around it to change the sheets. 😉

Haha I always imagine that changing sheets in these tiny homes is tricky!

Any changer of sheets knows that a bed without adequate walk space around it is…. well, pure hell on earth to make up and change. Perhaps if the bed was on rollers and could be nudged a bit? This design becomes particularly difficult and maddening when one is a senior citizen or physically impaired. Just my 2 cents worth. These comments are respectfully submitted.
