Deanna and James wanted to travel, so they renovated an adorable vintage camper together. However, they found it difficult to hitch up the camper and tow it from place to place, so they sold the camper and bought a van instead!
Their van allows them stealth and ease of parking, and this fully off-grid rig boasts a Tuscan-inspired aesthetic inside. I love that they included a shower and dry flush toilet in the build, making it a much more COVID-friendly travelling rig.
Unlike many van-lifers, they chose to use the back of the van as a multipurpose bed/office/dining/lounge area, complete with a hidden projector screen. Enjoy the video tour from Tiny Home Tours below!

I have a thing about toilets in the shower.If you have to use the restroom after someones shower,your clothes are goona be all wet.I do understand the concept of it but not a fan.
So in the video she mentioned that the toilet comes out of the shower when you want to shower because there’s no piping.
Like Natalie pointed out, the toilet isn’t attached to anything. So it can just be placed somewhere else and it’ll just be a wet floor if you have to put it back and use it right after someone had showered…
It’s a common issue with wet baths but typical remedy is to have a foot rest you can put down for a dry place to put your feet… You can also have a separate towel to help dry it off, or a good vent and fan to help it dry faster…
This van conversion is really pretty! I like the arches. Being able to take the toilet out of the shower is a very clever idea. It looks like you are set for traveling and seeing the world. Enjoy!
Almost a year later and I am still loving this van! It is so well thought out, and I love the shower.

Just a small point but before i ask, gotta say stunning van guys 110% for being innovative, but more importantly for being different and building for you, as far to many “mass produced and then adapted buses about that just on the whole resemble the origin but in reality it’s really “it’s ugly cousin 20 times removed” but you have clearly put a great deal of thought and planning into it, to get exactly what you want out of it and good on you for being brave enough too, we need more alike you, to show that what you want can be done and at an affordable cost, with many around the world being able (due to covid) work from home, effectively pointing out once again, that many of the worlds workforce could with good static internet connections onboard really work from their van (home) allowing us to see a lot more of the world (maybe not quite so easy right now but we will be once again able in the near future, and i have to wonder now it’s been proven to a great many of the doubters and naysayers who argued that it wasn’t possible to live and work from a van, parked in the middle of a field or motorway service station etc, so when it’s all over how many will go back to the 9-5 grind and spend an hour each way to get there and back !!! i know without a doubt if it were me what i would choose.
Now my question! is it just me or my imagination or are you not posting a great many more converted vans now along with buses and other road going machines than ever before? with a great diverse community living in and from them, from as many states and countries, i certainly hope so as this as some that know me will already know is where my real passion lies, but with my current state of disablement looks unlikely to me the route i go down, and it will be back to some sort of shipping container “Tiny” but a man can dream, can’t he? or do we have set hrs, in set places only admissible for this also now, i wouldn’t mind if the hours and places stayed the same 😎👍🤷♀️
