I’m a long time resident of Washington State, so when I see these announcements, my interest is perked.
However, I was bit confused by this announcement so I did a little research and I see what’s going on now.
Please allow me to clarify the above announcement, for any other locals who may be as confused by it as I was, initially.
This event will happen at a homestead belonging to Pioneer Modern.
    That homestead is called “Ravndal”.
It is located 45 miles NW of Spokane.
Please do not confuse this with the town of RAVENSDALE, as I did.
It’s all happening east of the mountains.
The source of my confusion is when the above announcement was written as; “The first workshop will have the participants visit the start-up homestead site, Ravndal, WA.”.
The above quote makes it sound like you’re referring to a town called “Ravndal, Wa.”, which it is not. It’s a homestead.
There are a ton of tiny little burgs in eastern Washington and I’ll admit I don’t know all of them, so when I looked it up (because the town was not showing up on the Google Map), all I got were references to the town of Ravensdale, which I know is more than 45 miles away from Spokane.
    Thus my confusion.
For those not familiar with this area, Ravensdale is about 25 miles SE of Seattle…the other side of the state from Spokane.
There’s probably a good 400-500 miles separating the two areas.
Not faulting anyone, just noticed that and wanted to post the clarification.
Thanks for allowing me this platform to clarify the announcement.
