This van was outfitted by a professional van conversion business, and designed to be lightweight and efficient. It was originally a 2006 handicap transport vehicle, but got a new life as a campervan in 2018. It has 159,000 miles on it, with new tires, a new starter, and 200 watts of solar panels on the roof.
The sellers’ lifestyle requires them to stay put more, so they’re hoping someone new can enjoy their van. The inside has a built-in bed with garage storage underneath, a small cooking area, and has been finely decorated with antique fabrics from India made by Indigenous Gypsy tribes who live in the Rajasthan area of India. It’s for sale for $15,000.

Beautiful! And very unusual. For the price it would make a first time van dweller a gorgeous little home.
Way too dark. It needs some windows. And the bed does not look comfortable to sit on because of the shelves all around it around neck height. Nice Indian blankets can not make up for that.

Sorry builders but i have to agree it is very dark, although i suppose fine for wild-camping but that’s about it, i truly can’t see where the value in this one is, i quick trip to Ikea or the likes and a weekend could have you all touring about in much the same type of set ups, for sure, at nowhere near the cost of this one.
The poster saying about all the shelves, i would constantly hit my head on these seeing as i’m a bit accident prone, i am sure several trips to A&E would therefore prevail thus no good for me 🤷♀️😎.
One thing i do like however is the roof space, that’s one good joiner/cabinet maker there for sure ..

Well cost isn’t just for the conversion, it’s the total price for vehicle, etc. They didn’t specify how much the conversion added to the asking price… But looking at other listings for well maintained 2006 Ford E-350 high top vans looks like they still sell for around this price… Most look like they were modified for handicap use, like one listed from Albany, NY has wheelchair access and it’s listed for $14,500… So may be a fair price they’re asking for at least this particular vehicle but of course you may find an even lower cost one that will work and do you own low cost conversion…
