It is irresponsible to hold a tiny house festival in the middle of a pandemic. Someone does not care about other people’s lives. Even in a mild version, Covid-19 gives 40-50% long term health problems. Deaths are the least of the problems in this regard.

No, that’s misinformation as no long term studies have been done yet to determine that and only speculation of risks that have yet to be confirmed. They’ve only stipulated potential issues but have yet to determine the actual risks and what percentage will actually be effected. Most of the risk stems from those who develop pneumonia during infection but not everyone does and the report doesn’t include people who were not hospitalized. So stating 40-50% is at the very least not based on complete data…

A lot of theories have been thrown around like they were facts but until we collect real data they’re just theories that can be wrong… This is a virus that has been highly politicized and the actual science has not been consistently reported.

They also tend to look at Covid as if it’s the only problem in the world but we have plenty of others. Like the lockdowns have caused massive increases in suicide rates, over doses, and other health issues with death rates rivaling and exceeding the total number of covid deaths… Even WHO reversed itself and now says we should avoid lockdowns because they are causing bigger problems and don’t seem to actually be doing much to prevent the spread of the virus… So it’s not realistic to only consider Covid and nothing else…

Regardless, reality, is though, if people can go to the supermarket, get supplies, etc. safely then it’s no more dangerous to go to an outdoor event. Actually, safer as around 99% of all infections happen indoors and not outdoors.

Besides, the first vaccine is coming out soon, Pfizer made the announcement for the vaccine they’ve been developing, and there’s a growing list of treatments available that’s further reducing risks of even people already infected. Along with other companies that should also be ready to release their version of the vaccines soon. So a lot is starting to change… Just don’t believe everything you hear as a lot is being politicized for political reasons and not science. Talk to an actual doctor who actually treats Covid patients if you want to know the science from the propaganda and fearmongering…

Such ignorance of science has cost a quarter million deaths…….get real

No, the problem is the media and most politicians have confused their politics with actual science. The reality is very different from the one they’re trying to portray.

For example, this is a virus that attacks the immune system and yet there’s been no mention of what to do to boost your immune system to help improve your chances…

Never mind the long list of hypocrisy… Like did you know indoor gyms in San Francisco police stations, other government buildings, never closed during Shelter-in-Place order?… Understand, that’s just one of literally thousands of examples of do as they say and not as they do, because they’re following “science” and you’re not if you question them…

While a reality check on the death count, in the US alone, sourcing the CDC from 2017 numbers, annually we have the following death averages…

          Heart disease: 647,457
          Cancer: 599,108
          Accidents (unintentional injuries): 169,936
          Chronic lower respiratory diseases: 160,201
          Stroke (cerebrovascular diseases): 146,383
          Alzheimer’s disease: 121,404
          Diabetes: 83,564
          Influenza and Pneumonia: 55,672
Nephritis, nephrotic syndrome and nephrosis: 50,633
          Intentional self-harm (suicide): 47,173

          Number of deaths: 2,813,503
Death rate: 863.8 deaths per 100,000 population
          Life expectancy: 78.6 years
Infant Mortality rate: 5.79 deaths per 1,000 live births

Since the lock downs, suicides have increased over 50%, some places it has even spiked to over 4 times normal numbers, people are not getting life saving medical treatment because hospitals are prioritizing resources for dealing with Covid patients, complications are increasing as the impact to the economy and dwindling resources take their toll, leading to mass hunger that the UN has reported is resulting in 10,000 children dying a month… So big jump in otherwise preventable deaths… Among other inconvenient numbers the media and politicians continue to overlook and yet keep telling us they’re following the science as they pretend to be doing what’s right for us… Mind, they’re the elite, none of this impacts them and they break their own rules whenever they want… Yet we are to believe every word they say even if it flies in the face of all logic and reason?

Facing reality is what we really have to do or it’s only going to get worse…

Thank god a person who knows the truth! There is absolutely no reason for the lockdowns except tyrany. Every year they try to come up with some new disease to fear. They have people hipnotized with fear. Amazing how we haven’t had a flu season since the advent of covid. If your scared stay home but as for me, I am going to live my life fearlessly and fully.

Covid cases have gone up every day here in Florida. I don’t think they should have the Festival until the amount of cases go down and a vaccine is made.

Something to understand is hiding from the virus doesn’t stop it but can also actually make it worse.

Like even back in March, a Chief scientific adviser in the UK, Sir Patrick Vallance, warned that temporarily suppressing the looming epidemic with a four-month “lockdown” would risk it exploding into an even more devastating outbreak next winter, which is what we actually saw happen throughout the world… Countries like Israel that did strict lock-downs saw large spikes the moment they tried to open up again, for example.

Something that was widely ignored despite all of the evidence from previous epidemics that suggests that when you do lock-downs and then you release it, it all comes back again and risks it peaking to dangerous levels that can’t be managed. This and the other damages and deaths caused by lock downs is on the list of reasons the World Health Organization (WHO) now states lock-downs should be avoided…

Viruses, like a force of nature, is not something we can really control once it is out in the world and has already spread to a significant percentage of the population. It can only be suppressed as we try to get enough people immune to it so when the second wave hits it doesn’t cripple the population and overwhelm resources.

Then there’s other examples of details ignored like “essential services” still leaves more than enough people in situations they will have to contact with other people to ensure the continued spread of the virus, which is why even people who stayed at home still got infected in places like NYC despite the strict lock-down… But unless you’re a prepper with an air tight bunker to hold up in, there’s precious few people who could survive without essential services…

This is also a virus that primarily spreads indoors, outdoor infections are extremely rare with this virus. Since, it can’t reach high air concentration outdoors and exposure to the sun can reduce its half life to a minute and half, which means in about 34 minutes under a noon day sun can be enough to get rid of it in a given area… It’s dark and enclosed spaces where it can thrive for hours, especially, in spaces with recirculated air that allows it to reach high concentrations…

But a detail that is hardly reported these days but should is that the death count continues to drop because treatments have gotten better, even as number infected has gone up, and the vaccine Pfizer announced should be widely distributed by April, with those most at risk being prioritized to get it earlier, with other vaccines coming out soon after…

Again, this pandemic has been highly politicized and there’s a lot of fearmongering and false information being presented as facts. Like in NY, you take the total number of people hospitalized right now with the virus and divide them by the total number of hospitals then it only averages 16 people per hospital, for how those numbers actually stack up to available resources… Even at the height of the Epidemic, New York never used the emergency facilities built by the Army Core of Engineers and hardly anyone was sent to the medical hospital ship that was sent there as well. So the existing hospitals were never overwhelmed, despite there being few treatment options back then…

The virus is highly contagious but only a small percentage of the population is actually at risk of it killing them…

However, most of the deaths were actually from bad decisions by local government officials. Like in NY, Gov. Cuomo’s controversial order requiring nursing homes to admit COVID-19 patients, which resulted in over 4,300 recovering COVID-19 patients being sent to nursing homes throughout the state, ended up being the reason for the vast majority of deaths in that state, only exceeded by NJ’s numbers and together they account for roughly over 50% of all reported deaths in the entire country to date and that’s because it sent the virus directly to the most vulnerable part of the population. Avoiding such obvious mistakes will go a long way to reducing future deaths…

While reports of school infections are actually the same regardless of whether the school has opened… More than 20 other countries have actually had their schools open since July already and reported no major spike in infections from that action… Among other studies that show the virus mainly targets older people and people with certain medical conditions, unlike other viruses like the Flu that can effect everyone and can be far more deadlier.

So people really need to talk to real doctors to understand what’s really going on…

          Sorry James
your stats regarding total deaths in NY and NJ being half of all deaths is wrong – you should revise to say approx 20%

          November 17, 2020, 8:28 pm

@Sandra Kelly, nope, a key difference is they’ve been under reporting the number of nursing home deaths in those states…

According to an analysis by the Foundation for Research on Equal Opportunity, an Austin, Texas based free-market think tank. New York’s nursing home death toll could be 25% higher than the official tally, or another 1,600 deaths. The study, which found that nursing homes and assisted living facilities accounted for 45% of all COVID deaths in the U.S., based its estimate for New York on an analysis of international data, said Avik Roy, president of the group…

Another study done by The Empire Center, an Albany, New York-based think tank, asserted the New York nursing home death toll may be several thousand fatalities higher than the official tally, citing how the nursing home vacancy rate more than doubled during the pandemic. It doesn’t help that Gov. Cuomo still refuses to accept any responsibility for the result of his executive order and is even writing a book congratulating himself on how good a job he did… So it’s not like they’re telling you everything…

While at the same time nationally the total number of deaths may be much lower than they’re claiming because they’re not doing things like differentiating between deaths caused by Covid and other deaths from Flu, etc.

To put that into context, the CDC estimated that about 177,000 Americans died during the 2017-2018 flu season, from either the flu itself or by complications of pneumonia. The CDC never made a public announcement about this number, but you can count it yourself from data on their site. People with good memories might recall the “Wash Your Hands” and “Cough Into Your Elbows” posters at the time but compare that year to now and note there’s been no mention at all about Flu deaths, etc…

Add, many deaths are being counted as Covid deaths even if they died of something else, as long as they were tested as being infected. A number that includes false positives as the early testing wasn’t very accurate but they never corrected those numbers…

Just to point out a few of the litany of inconsistencies that have been regularly reported…

I may go to this event as I’m only about an hour away. If I do, I’d be willing to take some pictures and take notes if anyone would be interested in a follow up.

I’ll be retiring this year and will be building some various units and have already started. I will be building primarily small campers but will eventually build a THOW. I have a rolling chassis I built from scratch for a square drop camper that will have a unique feature that is currently unavailable commercially. I am nearing completion of a single axle TT frame that I want to build out as a dedicated traveler with some serious boon-docking capabilities.

Regarding C19, Thanks James for taking the time to elaborate a bit with some facts. I don’t and will not wear a mask. They do not stop a virus – period – as the viral particles are microscopic and they decrease oxygen levels in your bloodstream if used for very long. There have been many studies going back decades that show this (by the same agencies telling you to mask up) for anyone that wants to take the time to look. There is an agenda going on here and I’m amazed and saddened at how many people have willingly relinquished control over their mind, body, business, and life without applying critical thinking to the situation that’s been presented. The economy is being collapsed before our very eyes over a virus that appears to have about the same or just slightly higher mortality rate than the common flues we deal with every year. Have you noticed that all you get EVERY day is a bombardment of negative news, gloom and doom, and fear mongering for 10 months now? Why haven’t you been told daily about the things YOU can do to boost your immune system, knowing that a well functioning immune system is the key to fighting any viral or bacterial agent attacking your body? Why has there been no in-depth analysis of prophylactic measures that many doctors successfully have used globally? Why is there no deep and regular discussions regarding the successful alternative treatments that have been used that are low cost and could be made widely available with the stroke of a pen?— My answer to these questions, — none of these things further the agenda. I have 2 long time nurses in the family that work in big city hospitals and things are not as dire as what has been portrayed in the media and just about every death is listed as C19 irregardless of the co-morbidities that were mainly responsible for their deaths. —Rememeber, fear can only exist in your mind if you allow it. Enjoy the day !
