I think that this TH had a ton of common sense built into it. Steps to loft are sized like a home; not skinny. The railing to the loft is sturdy looking and safe. No spiral staircase, no offset steps or ladder. The mini-split being outside is smart. This TH has actual cupboards and space saving countertops. Love the stucco. If the TH were to be moved, would the stucco crack and break off?

Liz , In the description , it was called faux stucco , which I think means imitation stucco . the faux stucco could come in panels similar to plywood. which could explain the boards at intervals covering up the joints. Real stucco is heavy like cement , so that would crack and break if the TH was moved. Actually I love the look of the faux stucco . makes for a nice clean exterior,

I would never have thought it was faux. An amazing replica and alternative to the heavy stucco exterior. We lived in the desert in AZ. Nearly every home is stucco and I loved the look!

There’s faux stucco panels but there’s also products you can apply yourself that go on similarly to how you would handle pre-mixed drywall mud and can even be sprayed on with a hopper for texturing effect but unlike drywall mud or actual stucco, it isn’t brittle and is more like a rubberish layer that’s quite durable.

Builders like Incredible Tiny Homes often recommend it for finishing details for their Incred-I-Box, for example and have demonstrated the different ways it can be applied and the either smooth or textured look you can go for…

Added benefit, unlike real stucco and other porous siding options, you don’t need to worry about the layers of water protection, air gap, etc, as the faux stucco isn’t porous and won’t absorb water like a sponge like real stucco would. You can basically treat it like a very thick layer of paint that you can texturize if you want. Along with not adding the weight real stucco would have as well.
