This is the Little Bitty Tiny House that’s was just sold after housing Cody, Shay and their baby boy for about a year.
The couple recently shared on Instagram that they are moving to South Africa and will be remodeling an old RV! Read more about their move on the last page.
I wanted to share the gorgeous Little Bitty to inspire you in your own DIY tiny house adventure (they documented the build on their blog here), and simultaneously get you connected with this awesome family that’s living a minimalist life (follow them on Instagram!).
Family’s Journey From Little Bitty THOW to Renovated RV
Love the color scheme and private loft area.
Room for eating and working (two living rooms, too!)
I love a double sink if I have to hand-wash dishes!
Downstairs living room/nursery/guest room. Cute!
Love the windows in the loft. That blanket looks cozy!
Loft living room with a huge TV! It’s like a theater.
Great bathroom with a tiny sink and large tub!
South Africa will be fun, but look at this spot!
From the Family (Via Instagram):
Bittersweet as it is, sometimes when one door closes, five new ones open.
Cody and I shared the dream of having our own tiny house from the very beginning of our relationship. And last year, 2016, we made the dream come true. Even though it ended up being a short chapter in our lives, we’ll never forget the fun (aka blood, sweat and tears) that went into the building of this place and all the help and support we got.
What’s next for us? We’ve moved to South Africa and have been actively searching for an old RV to remodel. We’ve been meticulously planning a massive road trip across southern Africa. (Which will be thoroughly documented just like our tiny house build 😄) We hope you all stick around for this new adventure!
