Family of 8 w/ Pets Living in a Bus

This post contains affiliate links.

This is the Evans family (their Instagram). They’re a family of 8 with pets (3 dogs and a snake) living on a bus that they renovated themselves. That’s 8 people, 3 dogs, and a snake living and traveling out of a DIY bus conversion (their YouTube Channel).

They are excited to be traveling the world and giving their children real experiences instead of just reading and watching movies. Pretty cool parents, right? This story is brought to you thanks to the Tiny Home Tours YouTube Channel.

That’s still only 5 beds. 4 bunk beds and one below. Where does the 6th kid sleep?

Note, they say family of 8 but only show 5 kids… So that could either mean the sixth child is either moved out and not living with them full time anymore or a baby that they didn’t want to show in the video that would still be sleeping with the parents… Or another adult family member who is traveling with them but not shown in the video…

Though, father did mention bunks are under rotation as older kids move out then the younger kids will take over their bunk…

I absolutely love this beautiful home, there’s nothing that I’d change, it’s perfect the wait it is. Congrats to them, they did an amazing job in converting a bus into a home!

And I thought living tiny in a 312 sq ft cottage with two terriers and a cat was a challenge!

We are a family of 7. My husband is 64 and I am 59. We had planned to retire in a few years and travel. However 2 years ago we adopted 5 of our 23 Grandchildren. This makes me think we might still be able to do both. Thank you and I love your home and wouldn’t change a thing if it was mine.
