Family of 4 Has Lived Nomadically for 3 Years!

Alexis and Steven have two adorable sons. About three years ago, they got the itch to travel the United States with the boys — for only a year. They downsized into a Sprinter Van and made it happen. But when that year was up, they discovered they weren’t done! (But, they needed more space).

Now they are proud owners of a new Airstream with a large master suite, split bathroom, and two other convertible beds for the boys (although they prefer to sleep together to keep away nightmares). They have traveled some 60,000 miles and are now in Baja, Mexico. What do you think of their home?

They Upgraded from a Sprinter to an Airstream

The new Airstream has a beautiful, sleek look.

There’s not a lot of counter space, but the family still has room to cook meals.

Now that’s a view!

Glad this works for them but I think there is way too little storage for full time living – I’m assuming they home school the kids and someone works remotely for income because the Airstream and truck aren’t cheap to purchase or operate – having the kids sleeping in the living area would be less than desirable for most people and although the kitchen is sleek there is way too little work area – sorry but I’ve seen other trailer/truck rigs that I would prefer, but that is just me.

Since they have enjoyed this for a few years, I would think they will continue their adventures. What a marvelous experience for the boys! As the boys grow and this lifestyle isn’t comfortable or practical, they no doubt will do whatever is best for them all. Meanwhile — fantastic experience for the kids and so much outside in nature time rather than on iPads with game ups!!

How does one manage things like truck, or THOW or camper (airstream) registrations if you have no permanent address? I’ve been trying to figure this out. Can anyone help?
