I LOVE IT!! So super-tiny and cute, and has everything you need (bar a bathroom). The layout is perfect for one and would be so more comfortable than a motorhome of equivalent size. This is the sort of structure that could be considered for assisting the homeless – somewhere dry and secure, with basic amenities and a place to call ‘their own’. Gorgeous šŸ™‚ And funny how it makes those surrounding it look like mansions!! Thanks for the post.

Yes it would be so great for the homeless!

I, too, love how it makes the other tiny’s look like mansions šŸ™‚

LOL, those bigger ‘tiny’ houses are now the older sibling who is no longer the baby. Having stayed in a tiny, very old camper this past November, I now know how much space I need versus want, so anything above that degree of tiny feels completely doable. Maybe when the residents of the former tinies feel a little cramped, they could pop next door for a dose of perspective. The composting toilet wouldn’t feel like such a chore having had to trek across to a shared toilet in the middle of the night, I’m sure!

Why would I buy something without a bathroom and pay a 400.00 a month lot rent?

Cute house. That being said: PLEEEEEESE don’t use a fisheye lens on the camera; it skews the visual understanding of the dimensions.
    Thanks, Athena

I’m sorta with you on the fisheye lens, but being a camera person myself sometimes just using a normal wideangle lens just wouldn’t show the place well at all. And yeah, I pretty much don’t ever use a fisheye lens. Actually, never used one after trying one out in a camera shop.

    Much nicer than Thoreau’s cabin.

Very cute and easy to live in if there was a bathroom and a kitchen sink. It even looks like a dishwasher under the counter but it is not mentioned. Probably not a dishwasher without any water but that is what it looks like. I’d put a split-mini hvac in rather than the little a/c unit under the counter, too. I’d really love to see you post about the slightly larger units pictured. That one in the front with the deck looks like a really nice retreat!

How much? And I hope you would consider another one that isn’t going to a park but could be on private land! And with gas or propane appliances! This is near perfect.

Escape is primarily a builder that sells models directly to customers. They originally started as a Park Model RV manufacturer and everything they produce is RVIA certified.

Over the years they got into overlapping into Tiny Houses and the villages are a fairy recent development.

Company was originally called Escape Homes but seem to have shortened it to just Escape and the Villages are managed under Escape Spaces…

So just look up their main site to see prices and options. Though, as RVIA certified they’re classified as RVs and you’ll have to see if that’s allowed in your area.

They are popular to use for an AirBNB but as a residence you may run into restrictions…

Oh, they also have some customizable models, some dealerships will carry their models and you can see on their website if one is near you to be able to check them out, and they’ve done at least one manufactured house. So possible they can be commissioned for one of those options too…
