Eclectic Tiny House with a Tiled Bathroom

This post contains affiliate links.

One thing I love about tiny spaces is that owners frequently go “all-out” because it’s most cost-effective in a tiny space. That’s what happened in the bathroom of this Austin tiny house. It’s completely tiled with gorgeous orange and gold tiles!

The rest of the house keeps it simple (which is nice, there is such thing as “too much”) with white walls and wood accents. There’s a loft bedroom, storage stairs, and a kitchen set up for simple meals. It had a first life as an Airbnb and comes fully furnished! They’re asking $49K on Facebook.

They’re offering the Tiny House fully furnished for $49,000

What do you think of the light and dark contrasting wood tones?

Stargazing from the bedroom loft is definitely an option!

There’s also a TV for movie-watching.

Here is the spectacularly-tiled shower!!

The entire bathroom is tiled!

What a cool little corner piece here.

There’s a flush toilet in this tiny house.

Storage under the staircase.

I like having the stools under the counter. Also, check out the large farmhouse sink.

I might put curtains on some of these to hide my stuff

Coffee Bar! My favorite.

Mini-fridge and microwave

They have an air exchanger in the corner but one could easily upgrade to a wall unit.

Hello, I am interested in used tiny houses in Florida, especially in the Orlando/Lakeland area. And/Or construction companies that will build a tiny house—under 700 sq ft.
I don’t see how to narrow my search on your newsletter. Sorry if you have a link and I missed it.
    Thanks,

Looks like the only seating is the stools. I wonder if you could fit a sofa or loveseat where that table is, next to the air exchanger.

Hmmm. . .not a lot of living space, but still a lot of house for a very good price. It’s lovely. A loveseat would fit in that space with a small narrow table in front of the stairs. Then I’d exchange the solid front door for a French door to make the space seem larger. Nice home.

The kitchen sink is useless with no workspace on either side. Imagine washing dishes.

Poorly laid out. The tile in the bathroom is ugly, should have just done white. Price is not bad. Air exchange takes up too much space. They should have use a mini split to begin with, These are just my thoughts.

Note, a Mini-Split is not an air exchanger but a heat pump. So it doesn’t move air in and out of the home, it only transfers heat…

The purpose of an air exchanger is to provide ventilation without needing to open a window. An HRV or ERV do this with minimum change to the interior conditioning, helping to keep the home energy efficient and easier to keep comfortable. The ERV does it step better with helping to regulate humidity. While some units can also filter the air for improved air quality but can be much larger units and wall units can be hard to install because they were designed to be installed in much thicker walls.

Generally, there’s cost considerations for these choices which can make it hard to choose the most efficient use of space without significantly raising the price…

While, if you check the seller’s other listings you’ll find a black and white design version with textured white tiles in the bathroom… Same price…
