  Very nice. I love the privacy wall in the loft bedroom. If this were my home I would do the same thing.

    Minimalist(e) is not how I would describe this. “Basic” or “spartan” except for the price.

      There are far more basic and spartan homes than this. It’s just not moved into yet by the owner but it’s a designer home completely custom made for the specific owner… So is only as minimal as the owner wanted to go but is still a big scale down from what’s normal in Canada… You don’t have to go to extremes to call it minimaliste…

    In this particular home, no, but even in homes this size that’s still up to how you prioritize the space usage. Everything they do is completely custom for each one they build. So it just depends how big you want the kitchen, the living room and/or office space, etc. to then set aside space for a main level bedroom…

    They’ve done main level bedrooms many times before, the previous article on this builder, “10’x35′ Noyer XL Tiny House With Main Floor Bedroom,” has one for example, but there are always trade offs and will depend on your priorities and preferred way to use the space…

    That’s the idea with them, every one they build is custom and tailored to the specific client… The models are just starting points for them but every detail can be changed. Mainly just limited to size and dimensions of the structure, as they don’t make the trailers they’re built on, but otherwise have near complete freedom to design it however you want…

    They’ve even done one for someone concerned about EMF, so there isn’t much they won’t cater to as long as it’s in your budget…

  Nice. Clean lines, blank slate, which is always good when people have their own things to add to it. I’m assuming there is a closet in the bathroom between the sink and the washer? It’s hard to tell without a floor plan layout. The cabinets in the main loft are amazing.

  I am a tiny house enthusiast, however, I don’t know if I’d like ALWAYS crawling around on my hands and knees while in the loft. This one may be tall enough to at least stand stooped.

  My only real concern is egress from the loft in an emergency. No opening windows or roof window. I would add this somewhere for sure. Otherwise, it seems flawless! Great workmanship, clean sharp lines.

    The closet in the bathroom houses the house mechanicals, which include the water heater tank, water filter, 12v fuse box and power supply… But the space between the sink and the outer wall is open to use for storage. It’s basically an L shaped space between the combo washer/dryer, by the left side of the entrance to the bathroom, and the bathroom sink at the middle, far end… So about half the space is usable…

    While the main bedroom loft has an egress window on the taller side, same side as the stairs… The other loft, over the bathroom, is the only one that lacks one but it’s only meant for storage and also doesn’t have as much headroom as the main loft…
