Hi Alex, let me start by saying that my family and myself love your website a lot, I’m on the process to build a Tiny Home on wheels, I already own a trailer is a 17′ long by 7’8″wide but I’m having difficulties finding a good set of plans or blueprints, of course i’m willing to pay for it, i just need some directions of where to get it. Any ideas?……Thanks

Yes, I’ve had the same problem on my iPad and have found that if I put my earphones on, then I can hear…. Who knows why?

.. Thanks for the suggestion about ear phones Denise, but I still had no luck with my Samsng galaxy SIII unfortunately .. Never mind, I’m inspired by what I see anyway .. Alex, Do you have anything relating to Australia in the way of tiny houses? .. Legislation relating to sheds and emergency housing has changed in recent years across Australia allowing us to build a shed to within a certain square meterage without plans or permits in all the Eastern States and probably other parts of the country, and anything can be used for emergency temporary housing .. So therefore I’ve been considering building something on a block I own overlooking the Hawkesbury river near Sydney .. I also have an old Melbourne tram built in the 1920’s sitting on a 1/4 acre in a little country town in Victoria .. I’m quite broke because I have minimal employment and am studying dual diplomas in Community Services and Case management and am supporting the bank with my house mortgage in suburban Melbourne as well as paying the utility companies way too much money, so I can’t actually do much more than dream at the moment .. Could we see more content on converted carriages and other old re claimed and re purposed things, as well as affordable non trailer building projects using recycled materials please .. Australian content would be great also if it’s available .. I know you do a great job with whats available .. Thank you for all your work and inspiring information so far .. 😎

I do remember this man saying in one of his videos he has put something like 5k into his build so far. However, he has gotten some items for sponsors, like his composting toilet that runs for 900 dollars, because he has a relatively large and constant youtube audience. You might consider trying to get sponsors for your build, although I would guess its getting harder and harder now that the concept is spreading so fast. You would have to be clever, I would imagine.

At his overview, this gentleman says so far he has put 2500 us dollars into his build, he is half way into his build, he has a concrete foundation and cement block walls
