this seems to be a useful floor plan. It is hard for me to visualize how the spaces fit together. I do like the way the areas for different functions are delineated. Really like the bedroom lay out. Congratulations to the owner and the builder.

I really hate lofts due to steep ladders and no headroom but this house fixes that problem with this bedroom set up. I like the stairs with handrail and the ability to stand up in the bedroom. It even has a nice closet. Well done!

Not really a split level. It’s hard to tell the layout By these pictures. Definately not my favourite.

This has always been a huge favorite. And yes, it most certainly is a split level as it sleeping level isn’t a loft, but rather a level split off from the lower level. I thank people get caught up in the word split level and assume it means the same thing as it would a stick-built regular home. This home looks like it could be easily lived in for many years and quite comfortable. The only thing I would do is enclose that back to keep the safety of all of the items that are entailed in there, hot water heater, etc., obviously with some vents for air circulation. Well done.

I do have say there is a lot of missed opportunity for storage in this home, however I understand it is a custom build to the owners needs.

as Kim, I don’t like lofts at all but this solution with proper stairs and standing headroom in front of the bed seems to me acceptable although the bed is a bit of enclosed for my taste.
Don’t like the second loft which eliminates the open feeling though the low ceiling.

I forgot to mention that I don’t like the utilities hanging on the back of the house exposed to weather. An enclosure preferably above the hitch would be more convenient.

Never did figure out where the split-levels are located. Plus, the video feed was not available at the time I read this – a common occurrence these days with THN.

I really like the layout of this one. Does anyone know if anymore information about this build exist online? What size is that trailer?

Although not my taste inside, this TH is one of the closest I’ve seen to a perfect set up for a person that can’t do a loft! Well done! I keep hearing a lot of 50+ women are looking into tiny homes. We can’t climb the lofts. This rocks. A tweak or two in the kitchen, and a little more cool storage? Well done!!
