This Tumbleweed Fencl home was built in 2012 in Monroe, WA and most of the wood used in its construction was cut down and milled from cedar trees on site. We spared no expense on the details. Everything is fully upgraded, not a single corner was cut. My wife and I built the house with the help of a few of our friends who were professional cabinet makers, custom trailer builders, and professional carpenters. We loved every minute of living in this house for the last 2.5 years, but due to some major life changes and a new baby, we have decided to part with it! We’d love for this work of art to become a home for someone who will appreciate it’s beauty as much as we have!

This home includes extras such as:

  • Cedar siding (rain-frog coated)

Based on the budgets of other tiny houses. I think its fair to say there is 20-25k in materials. The problem is just as you are showing, people dont want to pay for LABOR. Labor doubles the price. It’s not really overpriced by that much. I think this is a big problem for sellers and builders and i dont see it going away.

I agree, I think that asking price is fair and reasonable. Considering the amenities, that comes with it, and the quality of the construction. Also by comparison of prices of luxury cars , heavy duty pick up trucks that’s loaded as well as these big fifth wheels with 3 or 4 slide outs..Trouble is most people want something for nothing, But when it comes for them to sell something as such. It would be interesting to see what they would ask for it themselves…

Beautiful little place, and beautifully maintained. Glad to hear that it is the happy arrival of a baby that is gently moving you on. Good luck with the sale and all your future adventures.

$49000 is way too high from what I have seen.

Asking way too much. Defeats the purpose!

Worth every penny. Crabby people who are unwilling to do the work, or pay for it should keep their opinions to themselves. I wouldn’t want my good karma going to them, nor my happy home. I hope you find the perfect buyer that will appreciate it.
It’s beautiful, and best wishes on your new adventures.

    Hello,

I love the tiny house. I am building one from scratch myself and it has been more challenging than I ever thought it would be. Knowing what I know now I would have gladly paid $50,000 to avoid the 7 months of back breaking labor doing it myself. (ie. I have a full time job the entire time of building). I am hoping for all of our sakes the haters who have not built one themselves understand that the labor of a quality product is expensive no matter if it is a tiny home or RV. I am running into a problem with the toilet though and was wondering if you could give me any recommendations on what type of toilet that you have been using.

    Thanks
    Jeremiah

Good luck Jeremiah! Hang in there and keep it up. If anything remember you can always hire contracted help for parts of the project and you’ll still save lots of $$$ instead of getting it all done completely. But I hear ya! A tiny house is still a huge project. For toilets I recommend RV flush toilets, normal flush toilets (if you’ll be stationary mostly) or composting toilets (if you don’t mind processing it every few days)

Is it able to be moved across country? What is your lowest price?

This is such a beautiful tiny home. Hopefully, the owners will find a buyer who will truly appreciate all that has been put into this home.
My husband and I are really wanting to downsize to a much smaller home-not tiny, but about 800 square feet. Unfortunately, zoning in most of Mississippi doesn’t allow such small homes unless they are out in very rural areas. We have just about given up trying to find a lot that will be convenient to shopping, grocery stores, and medical care-something that at our age-nearing 70-we really wanted. I don’t know if the idea of small homes, much less tiny homes, will ever “catch on” here.
