Great, great story and house turned to home. I really like the record holder and the use of airstone on the shed. I am planning the same thing but on the first floor as a accent between siding.

    Congratulations and a beautiful story.

They seem like the most pleasant people. Inspiring post, and their TH has some cool ideas (like the cabinet/stairs that don’t appear to be stairs at all, rather than an overtly overbearing staircase, and their piping record shelf). I’d wish them luck but I think they’ve got everything they need!

Texas….Just wondering how they deal with bugs…I have not tried the snap together type flexible bug screens but I would think tat would be a must ANYWHERE east of New Mexico…I could imagine a side mount receiver hitch system for a screened in porch on that unit maybe…A nice 6’X8′ powder coated Aluminum unit with fasteners on the eves for the screened canopy maybe? Fits well in the truck bed and after set up they would have 48 sq.ft. of bug free living space…When they get to Main that will be VERY important…especially in the fall with the black flies or anywhere in Canada or Alaska with Whitesox…

We always had bug screens that just kind of “popped in” to our windows during the summer in MA — too many mosquitoes!

Such a neat couple! Would love to have them for neighbors. I don’t think I could live in that small a space with another person but kudos to them!!

What a great tiny house with a lot of clever ideas and touches. I am sure they will enjoy many happy years together. So nice to see people so close and “into” one another.
