Couple’s 4×4 Truck Camper Tiny House

This post contains affiliate links.

This is the story of Mak and Owen and their 4×4 truck camper tiny house built by Main Line Overland. Believe it or not, before this one, they actually went through two others! Can you imagine?

On the second one, they spend day and night renovating for 9 months only to realize that it wasn’t going to work. Instead of quitting, they did more research and ended up with the rig you see here which they absolutely love. You can follow them on Instagram @bound.for.nowhere. Learn more below.

Enjoyed the video. Love the Toyota Tundra 4×4 and Camper. I also, owned a VW Westfalia. But, we too had a lot of mechanical issues. The 6 inch stack of receipts from the previous owner should have been the giveaway. I like the Toyota truck camper pop up way more. The “Poop Deck” sign make me laugh!

I have a BMW R1200 GS Adventure motorcycle I’d love to travel further with. Also, was inspired by a German retired Luftansa pilot and wife that drove a G-Wagen around the world for 26 years on the road-covering 177 countries and 884,000km (549,000 miles). When his wife passed away, he kept traveling. Their G-Wagen named “Otto” is now in the Mercedes Museum in Germany. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/special/2014/newsspec_8703/index.html.

Once near Key West, FL I met another German couple with a pop top Landcruiser 70-Series Troopy. I asked what the jugs on the roof were for. They said in broken English, “clothes washing.” I asked why TWO containers?….They smiled and said…”one for whites, the other for colors.”

    Good luck to you both!

Omgosh, these two are adorable! I love that they are traveling with a cat and I love their personalities. I think I am going to have to figure out how Instagram works so I can see more of them and their travels.

No toilet, so… do they have a pee bottle for emergencies, or ??? They have some good ideas here.
