Couple Build Amazing $35k Bus With ‘Secret Toilet’

When it comes to living tiny, you *have* to get creative. I have seen hidden toilets tucked into all kinds of spaces in buses and vans, but this is the first time I’ve seen one pull out from under a mini wood stove!

This is Akram and Shawna’s second bus build and it features pallet wood cabinets, a pull-out pantry, black walnut live-edge counter top and tons of awesome vintage features. It took the couple 8 months to build out, and cost between $30-$35K, including the cost of their short bus.

Love the re use of materials. Looks like they really thought out the layout and function.
I don’t understand the large front bumper add on. The tires are aggressive enough to go off road, but the stairstep entrance could get you caught on rocks. So with limitied trailing, I see the bumper as a really heavy weight to haul with you everywhere you go. But I bet they have a special purpose or type of terrain that it works perfect for.

In the video he said it was a non-negotiable for him as a safety measure. Since the bus is their home, he wanted to make sure if they crashed it wouldn’t ruin the house.

This is beautiful too. Love the colors and the tile on the wall in the kitchen. Taste in material is classy. The deck on top is awesome. Toilet is cool or is it a secret? lol! Am sure they are proud as it shows and the dog is so cute.
