A friend of mine has a Park model. Great vacation or year round living arrangement. His is in a campground on the Mississippi. In Winter they have to move it to higher ground in case of rising water. One issue is that the air conditioner is underneath the unit and can be easily hit when having to move the unit. Very little ground clearance and these units are not meant to be moved very often.

this appears like a ad for a business selling these rather expensive ‘tiny houses’, when many of us are looking for a small well constructed place where we can afford to live in comfort and be able to relocate if or when it becomes necessary….just my opinion…………….thanks, mike

I like the pine interior, except for the appliances it’s a 10… I just hate black appliances and would rather have stainless.. And the exterior is a bit dark as well…!

In principle I like wood, especially when you can see the grain. For some reason, though, houses that are entirely woodgrain like this set my teeth on edge–I’d have to paint about half of this to be comfortable in it!
Having said that, there’s a lot to like about it. Another one with a nice back-wall loft staircase!

Is that a board tied in front of the fridge so it doesn’t move when moving the house?

I believe you maybe right…! I would hate if it was supposed to be there all the time.. LoL…!

I think so, Rick. And yes, paint can be a good thing 🙂

The usual mobile home look. nothing innovative or interesting. I do not care for that look.

At one time I felt just like you, about mobile homes! I had the impression that they were “cheapy” and only low class, less than societal dregs lived in them! Like people back in the late 50’s used to live in little pull-behind, travel trailers that were parked side-by-side in a little 1/2 acre mobile park, maybe 15 little “Silver-Streams” each space with little azalea beds and tiny decorative rock gardens lining either side of an 8 foot wide concrete driveway!!!
WELL, guess what? Since I’ve attained “senior” status, and no longer work, and having never acquired my “million”–and BTW many many ordinary homes now demand upwards of that amount—my single wide mobile home NOW suits me just fine!! Affordable–I don’t pay a mortgage! Comfortable–my THOW is larger than a “tiny” house. Just the right size for two!! My property tax is just $120 a whole year–even less than owners of a traditional house pay per month! And if I don’t like the appearance of my mobile home, I just don’t go outside where I have to look at it!!!! I’m a happy, comfortable, affluent piece of “trailer-trash”!! Ha Ha
