Off-Grid Modern Tree House in Colorado

Here’s the back of the tiny treehouse — be warned you climb up via ladder!

Inside is this crisp and modern sofa (that turns into a bed at night).

An adorable mini woodstove keeps this place warm in the cooler months.

And air mattress bed for up to two additional guests.

Camp chairs for outdoor dining with absolutely stunning views.

Grill your food while staring at the mountains.

Under the folding table is a fire pit — perfect for smores!

Nothing like getting to stare at a fire, and it keeping you warm, too!

Utensils and necessaries are packed underneath this grill stand.

Boil water on the wood-burning stove for a cup of tea.

Your views out the window.

I love all the clean and crisp lines on this house.

Just a heads-up that there’s no running water.

Composting toilet comes with bags to dispose of.

The toilet is partially open-air, and there’s no shower accommodations.

What do you think? Would you stay in this amazing tiny treehouse?

I like it, but it is not a home! It is a get away camping style facility. A tree house! Fun: but not a place to live full time.

I would love to give it a try ! Think it would be a great little house. the worse part would be getting up the ladder to it.

It’s really cute. I am glad that you specified that there’s no running water because in this day and age off grid can still come with all the amenities of a regular home.

Yes it’s true. I felt like it was an important disclosure! I guess it’s hard to run water lines, off-grid, up a tree.

I feel I need to correct the author: That is not a grill…it is a Coleman camping stove.

Pretty cool! The view is worth the stay, but the cabin is really nice, too.
