What an absolutely beautiful cabin! Every detail is just gorgeous. (Wish we had a floor plan or even just basic/better idea of layout, though?)

I wonder if the gas fireplace is connected to a line, or is it like propane tanks outside?

@Anion – You can see the tank in the first photo for the cabin on the left, towards the rear in the space between the two cabins… The other cabin probably has the same…

        Thank you, James!

What an excellent idea that is. You know, our house in England had propane tanks like that hooked up to the stove when we moved in (we eventually got a new stove and had it hooked to the home gas line), but for some reason it never occurred to me to do that for heat in the tiny I’m planning/hoping to build in the back yard. For a tiny place used only intermittently, it probably works really well–even if it’s only a supplement to a proper heater. Those tanks last a long time and aren’t too expensive.

That’s going on my list of ideas!

I love this place. And that kitchen sink needs to come to my house 😉

would you consider sharing the sink for 6 months.

Its amazing. I too would love a sink like that. It actually looks a lot like the one my Mom had in our house which was built in the 1950. It didn’t have the solid back splash but the sink and the built in drain board was there.

Yes! That’s exactly why I love it😄 I grew up with it and couldn’t wait to get my own house with the cool modern 2 sink stainless steel one, and now the one I actually had is what I would love to have back 😅!

I wonder if she’s ever had one before?

No she just loves antique stuff haha — her home is filled with vintage finds. Honestly I get annoyed by the depth of the sink because I find I splash water everywhere, but that’s probably more my fault than the sink’s!

This is perfect! I’d love to know who built it and how much the cost was. Honestly, this is the first tiny house I’ve seen that’s EXACTLY what I want!

Hi Melanie! It looks to me like these were cottages that had been on the property for awhile and were later updated/renovated by the owners.
