While a professionally-built tiny house is often the dream, it can come with a pretty hefty price tag. Cheeky Monkey is trying to make tiny homes more financially accessible by selling plans, shells, and trailers so you can DIY a tiny house.

You can purchase plans for their Jude and Strawberry tiny homes, and they also sell 18/24/28-foot trailers. Finally, their Blackbird and Jude shells are also available to purchase on their website.

Additionally, they are trying to help connect homeowners/landowners with tiny home dwellers looking for a spot to park. They’ve created a webpage where people with land and those looking for it can connect here.

After building tiny homes for a while, we decided we wanted to help other people build their own tinies. We’ve started to sell trailers, shells, and plans. Our trailers start below $10,000. All of them are Department of Transportation compliant and can hold over 20,000 pounds. The shells we sell are perfect for anyone who wants a DIY project with a little more help. Most recently, we just started selling plans for two of our most popular tiny homes, both with first-floor bedrooms, the Jude and Strawberry. The plans included a materials list, detailed blueprints, step-by-step instructions, and additional helpful time/money saving tips. We offer our plans at a discounted rate from anyone who also buys one of our trailers or shells.

A lot of people reach out to us looking for backyard space to rent for their tiny home and vice versa. We want to help connect these people which is why we’ve started a new section on our website, listing backyards and land available to rent for tiny homes. We’d love to reach as many people as possible and find more people who are interested in listing their backyard/land for rent.
