Cheap DIY Truck Camper

For tiny living, sometimes all you need is what you already have: just ask this guy who transformed his truck into a camper.

Outside, you’ll notice a RAM truck with a truck cover, but open up the back hatch and you’ll see all your camping needs in one compact area.

Inside, you’ll find a bed, built-in shelving storage, a water tank and plenty of water bottles. He has coolers to store food and another to store all kinds of camping gear. He even has a small grill for cooking while out in nature enjoying his surroundings. Look at the video below to see all the details of this DIY transformation.

Well thought out and eminently affordable. Unfortunately, based on previous experience I predict that someone is going to feel compelled to comment that this truck does not belong on this site because it doesn’t fit their personal definition of a tiny home.

Hmmm, living in this for any extended period of time and someone is likely to end up with back issues. Probably end up looking like that fella who used to ring bells in some place called Notre Dame…

There’s small… and then there is this. And to me that ain’t good.

My personal opinion, nobody elses, and criticising only the practicality of it.

Back problems can be helped by using a lightly inflated air mattress. You get support where you need it! Believe me, it saved my back at church camp on horrifying, lumpy camp mattresses. LoL!

A lugable-loo might be a good add. For comfort and can be used for storage when not being used for its designed purpose.
