A home office! I’ve never seen that in a THOW. I guess some of these tiny housers need to work with more than just an iPhones. 🙂 Beautiful staircase, good layout, like the built-in TV you watch from the bed. This model is probably very expensive because of all the woodwork and built-ins.

Totally agree with you about working with more than just iPhones. Lots of us in the world use Android phones. Generally far superior in as much as you can customise it to work “for you” rather than the way Cupertino says you have to.

Now having already alienated half of the US viewer base, I notice that they use a laptop, which makes sense in a THOW but gads, the place is sooooo dark with all that dark wood. I’d lighten it up with a judicious amount of paint.

The dark is cozy 🙂 hehe. I also love my android — and laptop haha

Another vote for the office! That’s something that’s missing on far too many THOWs–and RVs, too.

As a software developer who sometimes works from home, I need space for a computer (and I generally use a powerful mini pc, not a laptop, so I need a bit of extra space.)

I thought the same when I saw the pictures, but then I watched the video tour. The office does not appear in the video. I believe its inclusion in the story’s pictures must be a mistake. I actually watched the video to see where they had put the office space. I can’t see any part of the office from any other picture and you can’t see any parts of other pictures from the office. It’s not there. :o(

Minor detail: From the photos, this looks like a tiny house currently on concrete blocks, not on wheels. 🙂

But of course. If you are going to park it up for any considerable period of time you do NOT want it to be sitting on the wheels as the bearings will collapse and the tyres will start to deteriorate.

Beautiful Elaborate, rich colors and warm very intimate, soft. Solid wood, kitchen is cozy, the purple down jacket fits perfectly the color of the coating. For me, the real talent lies not so much in giving a formally represent something very explicit and unequivocal impression, but give it a manifold aesthetic value to an environment, which in this case, may suggest a cozy “PUB” or other… Why not! Is more fun. Here, all is the Kiss

Happy to see at least 1 grab bar near the bottom of the stairs. Most photos I see don’t have a rail of any sort on the stair case which is usually steep with higher than average step height or on the loft. A safety nightmare even for healthy young adults. I’d like to see more models with 1st floor bedrooms.

Love the aesthetic and traditional trim. Reminds me of the old house trucks. I was a bit concerned about the skimpy support blocks in the first video but it looks like they added more support.

Ooooh y-e-s! Beautiful workmanship in rustic woodwork, a lot but still lovely. And I am so in love with the kitchen and the way it is set up. A TH worth dying for! B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L all around!

A little bit dark for my taste. The floor plan is different and doesn’t show the small interior width. The home office and storage space are great. Well done.

It is certainly dark, but it’s cozy at the same time. Very well done.

Glad that someone mentioned safety issues. When you are young, you tend not to dwell on them. I am a retired nurse and spent a couple of years working in the ER. among other areas of nursing. All of the stairways need outside railings and the lofts do too. At night, the ladders and stairs without railings are inviting a disaster, especially if you get sick, take medications, or have had one too many. Even without those problems, you can still slip and fall. With children, you absolutely need stair railings on the outside and inside. You need guard rails or other structures on the lofts to prevent falls. If the distance between stairs is too high, this can encourage falls. It is all good and well to be adventuresome, until a nasty fall occurs with a broken leg, ankle, back, and worst of all, neck. A really bad fall can result in a severe head injury, quadra or paraplegia. I have seen the results. I think safety issues are left out too often in many of these tiny houses. Some designs are not at all for older people. Yet, tiny houses should also be built for the Senior Set. I am not against tiny houses. They are, for the most part, delightful. This is just a word of caution from someone who has seen what a lack of caution can do. Sometimes, it results in an injury that cannot be undone.

Railings are always wise! Good news, they are easy to add in almost any tiny home that doesn’t already have them.

Poetry is the motor of the feelings, and although they do not admit the feelings, are revealed by what we do because they are within us. there is only one choice, or men or beasts. I would be ashamed if I had not “poetry”… Erik Satie, Giuseppe Sommaruga, Henry van de Velde, etc…..were materioalistic or “poets”. There is a “poets” army that certainly are not afraid of it, who helped tranform this “jungle” in a Civilization!

But it could also be perfect for an interior of a medium/large boat. By Gabriella from Italy

Its my dream to have a Tiny Home on wheels. I know there are many factors, but how much money do the Tiny Homes start at? Also, what is the best material to build with considering weight and and strength? What type of truck to pull them with? TY.

I love it! I love the dark wood. I love the office. I love, love, all the storage.
Where did they store their tires?
And..I did not see a stove top. Do they use a stow away stove top?
These young people seem to have thought of all their needs. I agree with better hand rails. And, still, I need a bedroom downstairs.

Love that workmanship though! Another company to put on my list!

They might not have one, or might just have a hot plate. Depends on how much they like cooking 🙂

    • February 23, 2017, 5:16 am

Thank you! We did use a stow away stove top…..that gave us that much more counterspace

This is a great use of space. Looks like a man had a good bit of say in the decor. In a good way. Whoever designed the interior has excellent taste and I wouldn’t be surprised to learn there were some artists’ hands put to the task. Except for the shallow sink in the kitchen it’s a job well done.

Beautiful! Yes it is dark, but turn the lights on, it’s so cozy. The rich wood looks like very high quality. The drawers in the stairs are awesome. I love this place, esp the loft! When am I moving in?

This is probably the most beautiful and yet efficient TH I have seen. I love the warm, dark colors. I love the fact that every possible inch of space was used to make either a room, or storage, or rest area. I love that they incorporated every facet of living in this one tiny house and I can’t see any wasted space. I mean, isn’t that part of the reason for tiny living? And yet it doesn’t look so closed in that you can’t move. Admittedly it is probably better for a single person or a couple, but it is gorgeous and inviting. The only drawback for me was the composting toilet. Definitely would rather have a flushing toilet, but that’s just me. I know a lot of other people prefer to use composting.
I would totally be able to live there if it was just me. Hats off to whoever came up with this design.
