350-sq.-ft. Solar-Powered Tree Cabin

This post contains affiliate links.

Up in Sanford, Maine you can stay at one of three amazing tree houses at the Littlefield Retreat which are powered by a vast solar array. That means your whole trip ends up being carbon neutral (including your drive from nearby cities like Boston).

But this “eco-luxury” treehouse won’t feel like you’re skimping. It has a fully-functional kitchen, a bedroom “pod” and a loft bedroom both with queen beds, and so many lovely reclaimed or locally-sourced touches to give it unique charm.

I’m especially a fan of all the wood elements inside! Enjoy the photo tour below.

Beautifully done and well equipped. The spa looks wonderful. The only thing I would add is a clothes closet.

A closet is always a great plus.
