Cam’s Container Home Sits Over A Stream!

The fact that Cameron’s DIY container home sits over a stream is just the first of many unique features in this 125 square foot shipping container turned tiny house.

Inside you’ll find a electric bed lift over the living room, which allows you to transform the couch into a bed with the push of the button. But the real magic happens over in the bathroom, where the large closet actually pulls out of the shower when it’s time to wash up!

Watch this transforming house in action in Jenna’s tour below. While Cameron did live in it for a few months, he now rents it out on Airbnb while he builds another tiny house for himself.

Here you can see the bed which comes down from the ceiling.

A friend offered him interior design help, and I’d like to note that I have the same color cabinets!

I am stunned. I am not a fan of container homes so I was going to pass it but hit the wrong thing and it was there and only 10 minutes so wth why not. I am so happy I did. I want to live in his extraordinary home. I don’t know if it’s because of the handy hideaway bed or the genius shower and bathroom. Maybe that gorgeous farmhouse sink? Or the fact that you are actually living in (on?) a bridge? It doesn’t matter why I am salivating over it, I want it so much. I love the way he thinks.

I too normally don’t care for container homes but this is very nice.
Though the bed is a bit much since there already is a bed under it. I’d rather use that space for storage.
One thing not fond of is built over a stream as there can be heavy storms can wash it away in a flash literally.

He mentioned the property had been in the family for 25 years with no flooding, BUT, one never knows!

Nice job but I was told years ago to never put a home over running water as it makes the electromagnetics of the body do some strange things. Not good for the person. Clever hacks. I love to look at all these and get ideas. I like the colors he chose too.

It would do strange things to my body. . .it would make me want to fish and wade all day! Lol! This is really nice! The bathroom closet idea makes you the new winner of the “repurposing space” award! That’s awesome, and the door works at two locations. Really clever! The whole house is lovely, and the living area is very spacious and comfortable looking. I am not a big fan of “hovering beds” (may fit in the space ship tiny house. Lol!), but yours seems to work without going to a lot of trouble. Again, a great space saver. Kudos!

Ya that closet/shower is by far the coolest space-saving idea I’ve seen so far!
