Beautiful Tiny House with Luxury Bathtub in Olympia for $65k

This post contains affiliate links.

This is a tiny house on wheels that’s listed via Zillow out of Olympia, Washington. Unfortunately, it doesn’t include land, just the tiny house for $65,000.

It’s a very nicely decorated tiny house with an interesting layout and a surprisingly nice bathroom with a tub. It looks very luxurious to me! What do you think?

Incredible! For some reason, seeing a regular table lamp in the bedroom was what stood out to me the most.

I am obsessed with tiny homes, and this one is beautiful. But, I get so upset at the lack of closets, a real closet. There’s little to no storage – not in any room.

I agree. They missed a huge storage opportunity with the pedistal sink. Yea, lack of storage everywhere.

        That’s inaccurate, there’s actually a fair bit of storage…

The bench seating is all storage, the stairs have drawers and storage compartments, there’s even a hanging rod above the combo washer/dryers for use as a open closet…

It may be something to understand about tiny homes is that they have to make use of every square inch of space and can’t waste a ton of space like conventional houses do. So features like storage just may not be in a form your familiar with but it’s still there and functional.

Not all storage needs to be built in either… Armoires, Wardrobes, etc. There’s a lot more variety and options for storage than just closets…

But to an extent, it should also be understood that tiny homes are optimal for minimalism and thus you’re not really suppose to have a lot of stuff. While any design also have to factor actual living and things like being able to move around in the space…

A sink vanity cabinet may have been nice but it would also have cut into the walking space in the bathroom and made it a little harder to move around, for example… Everything has trade offs and not everyone will think those trade offs are worth it… It is possible to put in even more storage but it gets to the point that is what the home becomes, just storage and you can’t really do much living in it… It comes down to priorities and what matters most to any given person.

That said, storage also doesn’t have to be all on the interior… You can have an exterior storage box on either/or the front or back of the home, you can have storage beneath the home and hidden by the skirting, and you can have other structures like sheds, just like conventional houses, for additional storage options…

Mind, most of these aren’t being moved more than 1-3 times and may remain in one spot for many years… So you don’t have to necessarily cram everything into just the interior of the home… Even if you do move around, the tow vehicle can also be an option for additional storage.

Tiny House Expedition, for example, used U-Haul trucks and would keep a fair bit of their outdoor stuff in the truck…

It basically helps if you are open to outside the box thinking on how to get things done…
