Outhouse and Bathhouse in this New Zealand Tiny Home

This is the outside of the bathhouse. It looks like a garden shed from the exterior.

This is the exterior of the outhouse which is right next to it. It’s got a nice slanted roof and vent.

The outhouse has a little sink to wash your hands.

The floor-to-ceiling window adds such a nice touch.

Really nice in every respect. Does anyone have any information on where one could purchase a toilet like the one shown in the photograph? That vented toilet is quite unique.

New Zealand… after all the tiny home is built in NZ? Whilst (fancy word) it could be imported it is probably an NZ item. I recall seeing similar items in Quirky constructions. However, YMMV

      It’s a Bioloo, NZ company…

The wind vent is actually something quite a few offer as an option, instead of just the normal electric fan, just most don’t opt for such a large vent pipe, and it’s one of the options available for larger, complete composting systems. Typically, gravity based, there would be a unit placed somewhere below, typically in a basement that the waste goes to and goes through the whole composting process. So you only have to dump the finished compost/soil… While some offer flush systems that can let you place the composter a good distance away, typically up to 70 feet away or even the floor above for more flexible layout placement…

There’s even a few alternatives that use a bio-digester that generates gas you can use to cook with as well as compost tea, instead of your typical composting…

The best I’ve seen. Nice and wide and so beautiful having the separate outhouse and bathhouse. Look up at the stars. Lovely.
    Nice filming job Bryce. Clare.

I saw this in Tiny House Big Living. This girl is a very smart woman. She made the most of her surroundings and I just love how she can separated her home in a unique way. Well done, dear! You inspire me.

You know with all the Earth Quakes around the World, I would to see an update. Meaning how well Tiny Homes have held up? I don’t know how one would get a hold of the Tiny homes owner maybe checking in on one of the owners whose story was presented here? I would also live be to see more or just a few stories of handicapped homes. There must be more then one store ie, the Brother who built a dome bagged and Cobb tea house. Maybe its just me, however I think more people with Disability would see that there is a tiny home for everyone.
