WOW-WOW-WOW!!! I LOVE THE LAY OUT. I WOULD LIKE MORE TROPICAL COLOURS AND I HOPE THE LOFT HAS ENOUGH HEIGHT THAT A PERSON CAN STAND TALL ON, THE LOFT IS AN EXCELLENT SPACE FOR A BEDROOM AND COMPUTER ROOM COMBINED. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A SAFTEY RAIL FOR THE STAIRS, BUT I AM GLAD TO SEE RAILINGS FOR THE LOFT AREA. I KEEP HARPING ON WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY, BUT LET US SAY A PERSON IS NOT HANDICAPPED, BUT UNFORTUNATELY BREAKS A LEG AT SOME POINT AND IS IN A CAST, A HOME LIKE THIS WOULD BE EXTREMELY SIGNIFICANT. I HOPE FOR US LADIES, IT HAS A BATHTUBE, SO THAT WE CAN TAKE OUR BUBBLE BATHS. DID I JUST SEE AN EXTRA ROOM IN THE BACK THERE???—IT SURELY IS GOOD FOR SOMETHING.

I like that so many things are at angles other than 90°! Very nice. 🙂 I also like the nice loft, its railing, and that there’s a stairway rather than a ladder. The only thing I can’t stand—and this is getting too common—is the uneven floor color! It makes my eyes go buggy. Just seeing it causes me tension.

I love everything about this house. I have to agree, however, about the flooring. Is this a thing, in USA, now? If so, UGH,

I really would have liked to see the whole house, the first-floor bedroom and the bathroom. I have to agree with Garth, I hate all mixed up flooring, for one to me it looks worn and dirty.

I think this is the prettiest tiny home I have ever seen. I love everything about this home inside and out! Love the stairs and so much storage. Colors are so perfect too.

I actually agree with all the comments above. Nice design, odd dirty looking floor, and why on earth not show the first floor bedroom since that was advertised and seems to be rather rare? Also, a picture of the bathroom would have also been nice. But thanks for sharing.

Bedrooms are actually pretty standard for Park Model RV’s… Some will even have multiple bedrooms…

There’s no obvious space for a dining table. One could adjust the living room furniture, or just eat on the sofa, I suppose.

If you go to the bottom of the page where it says, “Learn More Pratt Homes,” it will let you do a virtual walk through. Very impressive.

Sorry, I was too quick on the submit button.
Once you click on that highlighted “Learn More Pratt Homes ” once again scroll down to where you see “360 °” and there ya go.

A commeent on the missing dining roon table. Wife and I seldon use our table except for company. We have used our easy chairs in the TV roon next to the kitchen for many years now . Also handy place for using our computers.

I too, dislike the variety of floor colors, all the same would look better in a tiny space.
    Price?

Unfortunately I don’t have any price info to publish, but you can check with them here: https://lpratthomes.com/tiny-houses/beach-view

NADA GUIDE lists its base Suggested Price at $38,437, Low Retail Price at $26,150, and Average Retail Price at $31,500

Here’s a video tour of this 527B model from a Texas based dealership, Recreational Resort Cottages and Cabins…

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1SOMNCKnEI

And another they did for the 527A variant…

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=koIQaDLgeU4

They list the 527B at Base Price of $44,449.50… But typically that’s close to the MSRP and most RV dealerships will actually sell it at a much lower price.

Love this. Beautiful layout. In Grover Beach, CA they have a lot of these homes on the ocean side. This would be perfect for me.

Rent a tiny space first. I lived in a small space like that for a number of years. Just moved back into a one bedroom, but normal size house. I feel like a bird out of a cage.

Layout is fine. Though the countertops and the floors are too noisy. It clashes with the otherwise nice interior. And I do not understand why you would put in a a big ugly bulgy stove like that. It simply does not fit the home. It clashes with everything in it.

Full size residential appliances are part of the appeal of Park Model RV’s. But like other RV’s they’re primarily intended for recreational usage… So layout and appearance won’t always take into considerations what would be better for full time use.

WOW….gosh I love everything on the model, the different angles, the colors, and all the high end features. Prettiest I have seen and only wish Virginia Beach would allow them but location I wanted in they do not!

I would like to know if there are tiny home parks near the Elkhart Indiana area? Love the idea but where do you put them?

    • James D.
      December 6, 2019, 12:43 am

Most RV parks and some mobile home parks will allow Park Models. If you want to place it on private property you need to check with your county building department and ask if you can place a Park Trailer/Park Model on your property.

They’re an official class of RV and will be listed under PMRV regulations for the area you want to place one…

Quick search will turn up over 17 manufactured and mobile home parks around the Elkhard, IN area…

Problem is usually more about being able to live in it rather than finding a place to put it, as that’s really the restriction in most cases…

Though, places like South Bend have been pushing to allow tiny houses on foundations and have an experimental community in development… If successful, you’ll see that option pushed in more areas…

Love the layout, flooring should be the same throughout, makes home appear larger. Are there any Tiny Pratt Home villages in Southern CA? I’m interested.
