Nice setup. The old trailer converted to a bath house is a great idea. I run an MSF dirt bike school as my retirement job and an old camper like that would be great as a bathroom and changing room for the students. Thanks for the great idea! Now on to find a cheap trailer for my conversion!

Now, THAT’S an outhouse I could deal with!

The idea of a separate bathhouse is one I’ve been kicking around for some time.
I have a question about the materials and layout for the bathhouse: where’s the heat? and, one should keep in mind how some materials feel…..that cold, cold metal bathtub on my bottom (!!) For my money, a walk-in shower might be a solution that would conserve water and serve those who might find it difficult to make that step-over into the tub. Brrrr!
The cold is definitely a thought! Maybe the hot water would mitigate that?
I had a cast iron clawfoot tub in an attic flat and it WAS chilly on your bottom for sure! And yes Natalie, running the hot water first was the way to go so by the time you added the cold, the tub was warm enough to be comfy. It was also advisable because British rentals are notorious for hot water battles – running the hot water until you had enough or it ran out if only a little remained, was always advisable if you didn’t want to sit in tepid water!
While this might not be all that toasty in a chilly winter, it would be a step up from what usually pops into my mind when I think of an outhouse and prettier to look at but I’d still like a little loo where I sleep, though I’d be perfectly O.K with sending my husband across the way.
