Aubergine Tiny House Art Project Turned Home

This post contains affiliate links.

What makes Miranda’s Tiny House on Wheels so special? She and her mom built it as a public art project with the help of more than 50 volunteers! It took them one year of weekends to complete the build.

But what makes it even cooler? Nearly everything in the house is a work of art — from the ceramic dishes to the toilet paper holder! You’ll love the folding staircase, and the hideaway antique dining table that seats up to four dinner guests.

Miranda also happens to run the Massachusetts Tiny House Festival, which is currently still scheduled for October 17th & 18th this year! Jenna of Tiny House Giant Journey did an awesome video tour/interview with Miranda that you’ll want to watch below to get all the details.

Miranda’s Tiny House Art Project

Here’s Miranda unfolding her custom-made staircase.

As you can see, it takes up almost NO room in the home when folded.

Upstairs in her cozy bedroom loft.

Here’s a look a the whole home. Such colorful decor!

Those handmade ceramic dishes we were talking about above.

Now that’s a fun way to relax in your tiny!

And here’s the surprise fold-away table! What a neat part of the home.

Close-up of her cat because — cuteness!

Here’s Miranda with the volunteers helping to build her artistic home. Truly one of a kind!

I start my mornings off with a cup of coffee and tiny houses and this one really set a good mood in what can often be a dull day, lately. Thank you so much for keeping them coming 😘

No doubt he finest gifting I have seen for years. Imagine a dining table and benches behind Glass pane French Doors being a gift….The fellow’s name should be on a bronze plaque above the door in gratitude as THAT piece makes the home. Also, my wife would insist on a barn door to the bath rather than a curtain. Very whimsical and quirky in its own right from a simple Tumbleweed design. Finding yourself on wheels is soon to be the norm in AmeriKOCH I am afraid.

There are some really neat things there. I wish that folding stairway would become more common. Maybe it will.

I love the folding stairs and the folding table. Her friend who built the stairs should go into business making folding stairs and folding tables. I would buy both to put into my Tiny house when I have one built.

At the very least, her friends should be selling plans for both the stairs and the table/benches. I am “quarantined” in my tiny house, happy as a clam. My next-door daughter and family wonder that I am so happy in here and check on me often, but I have no reason to leave. Our local grocery store delivers groceries from the online app; I rarely turn on the TV (all bad news), and my tiny laptop tells me everything I need to know and serenades me at the same time. Just one warning: Tiny houses are addictive! I watch every video and mentally catalog every fantastic idea, and may one day put them into my “next” Tiny. I’d love to start it with the plans for both folding items. And I think the next one should float, so it will need to be lighter than this one in order to be put on pontoons. Keep the ideas coming. I never miss one of your videos. All JOY!
