The Art of Decorating: Big Style for the Tiny House

Drew is going to teach us all how to decorate our tiny homes in style!

I love this idea that your tiny house doesn’t have to be just a rustic wood cabin. There are so many possible options available and the only thing limiting you is your imagination. Well, maybe the space a little. I would love to see someone put a slide in their tiny house! (Anyone want to accept that challenge – Deek?)

As you know, I work with Drew on a number of projects. Well, “work” is a strong word – we volunteer together. I co-host his tiny house Podcast and we are also founding members of Tiny House NC. I am not affiliated with this course in any way – I just really love the concept and wanted to share it with you, the tiny house audience.

From my personal experience I know how important it is to make your tiny house feel like home. We decided on decorating our 120 square foot house in the colors of the Appalachian Mountains: brown, green, and gray. The peacefulness of the interior of our home echoes the beauty of the woods around us. These are the kinds of things you can learn in the two hour session with Drew. Do you like modern design or do you prefer a bohemian look? Are you into lush fabrics or clean metal lines? Putting your own stamp on your tiny house will be the first step to creating a gorgeous space that can change the way you think about the how you live.
