Nice enough but the only ‘maximalism’ I see is is the busyness of the decor. Otherwise it certainly is not the amount of features or amenities. I guess everyone is just looking for a tagline or brand to set them apart. Why not anti-minimalist?
That is an oxymoron statement. Makes no sense. I agree on the busyness of the decor. The black and white clashes with the colors of the kitchen.
Nice headline but I don’t see minimalism nor maximalism. To many colors are killing this interior design which is opposite of the outside appearance which I like.
I love everything about this space. Everything the owner needs, nothing she doesn’t. The title suggests the owner may have been a nomad/backpacker. This could explain why she feels this space is so grand!

Hmmm… Not really very big – more about the size of most ‘average’ tiny homes it seems to me. Only thing that I see being ‘maximalist’ is the amount of colors/edges/emblems/edges. While it looks nice for it’s size, layout-wise I am totally confused by the name.
Minimalism doesn’t only refer to the size of the home or how much stuff is in it…
There’s minimalism architecture, art style, music style, etc.
I love the colourful kitchen wall and all the other things that were selected with a lot of attention: the vases, baskets, bowls, the carpet, the pillows. It even reminds me a bit of my own style (still living in a flat, my tiny house will be built this summer …).
It’s not how I would decorate, but I think it’s awesome. Still has very little “stuff” in my opinion.
