Living In A Van Since Age 19… Now Sharing Tea On The Road

Meet James, who grew up in a small town of about 900 people. He always dreamed of getting to hang out with people and just getting out and exploring. So at age 19, he did just that with his first van conversion. James took his experience of working at his hometown tea shop, and decided he would go around sharing that with the people he would meet along his travel which is exactly what he’s doing with his Air Nomad Cafe.

Since then, he has upgraded to the 2018 Promaster cargo van conversion that you can see right here (below). The inside has been completely retrofitted into a tiny cabin on wheels. And the outside has been repainted to give a retro vibe with the teal and white. It’s pretty cool! What do you think?

He worked at a tea shop in his hometown in NY, which is where he realized that he could connect with people through tea. He’s a gamer and has multiple game systems and a stellar solar setup to power it all, so he didn’t have to give up his hobby on the road.

James, I think what you have done is amazing!! You are true to who you are and what you like. I understand this and I applaud you for being you. Your place is so nice. But you are nice and its so good to see a young man being such a whole person. I would say if I were guessing that in the Chinese astrological signs you might very well have the element of wood, since you feel so warmed by it. Joyful trails to you my friend. Your story is a blessing.
