Two Ladies Convert an Abandoned Bus to an Awesome Home

This post contains affiliate links.

Today I wanted to show you a unique project where two ladies turn an abandoned metro bus into a classy home on wheels. Big thanks to reader Mike B. for sending me the link to this awesome project on Facebook (like us there!) that I’m now getting to share with all of you.

Projects like this are always inspiring to me because people are taking something old and unwanted and turning it into something new that lots of people would really, really want. Okay so let me show you what the bus originally looked like real quick:

How would you like to convert a bus or any other type of large vehicle into a tiny home of your own? Or would you rather do a completely new stick-built structure on a utility trailer?

For me, it depends on what I’d want to do. If I just want a cabin in the woods I’d definitely go with stick-built on a trailer.

But if I want to travel around and see the country I’d definitely go with something more like this. Or something like this school bus that a student turned into a beautiful modern home.

Hi Virginia. Are you still interested in Tiny House living? I’ve been looking for land in the SCV and found some areas we could look into. Email me if you want to talk. [email protected].
      Thanks,
      Dara

Looking at the steering area, I dont think this is driveable any longer. But they did an excellent job.

I love seeing all the creative conversions, but along w/the photo’s would really like a more detailed description of the process, and associated cost’s broken down.

Amen to that… As beautiful as it is it’s almost beyond comprehension how they did, or who they hired, or what! But I’d love to see the process, costs, and materials – and in a general way so as not to get too much into their space depending on how much they want to share….

I’m super interested in whether this bus is movable. Does it drive? If so, how does it drive now that it’s finished? I would love details on that point, the time it took to covert the bus, where they found an abandoned bus, what country they are in…and about 200 other questions. Is there a website of the process? Or can I get in touch with these creative females? They have SO inspired me to move forward with my project.

Outstanding…! Awesome job… I can not remember ever seeing a tiny house conversion from a bus of this type such as this… As I would not have been able to envision such a creation from it’s type either… It is beautiful…! I commend them both for a job outstanding from all others…! Best of luck to their future as well….!

Why are these two women being referred to as “ladies?” What have either of them done to deserve the title of “lady?” Just because they are females does not necessarly mean they act, dress or think like a lady. Did these two females actually do all the work or even some of it… or did they trade sex to get males to do the work for them… which is usually what females do to get what they want.
