A Nautical Baluchon Build in Brittany

This post contains affiliate links.

Guillaume loves the sea and wanted a tiny house with hints of Nautical flair built for him by Baluchon in France. As always, their work is above reproach!

His 6 meter (~19.5 feet) tiny house feels amazingly spacious. You walk into the living space that has the all-too-awesome Cubic Mini Woodstove and a cushy-look couch. A storage staircase leads to the bedroom loft, and below is the kitchen complete with an oven and stovetop, and then the bathroom tucked behind that.

Enjoy the photo tour below. Could you live in this one?

Absolutely I could live here! Is tomorrow too soon fo my move in date?? As with virtually every other tiny made by Baluchon, I am in love with the design. Congratulations Baluchon on continuing to explore tinies of about 20’ – you have so many really livable floor plans.

Stunning. The best I have seen. Only thing I would add is railing on the staircase and across the loft.

your right Ann it does need railings. Also flush toilet and no wood stove ,instead a mini split. then this would be perfect for me. I wish they made these here.

Honestly, one of the best laid out plans for a THOW. I particularly like the black with light wood both inside and outside. So pleasing! I can see a couple of minor changes I would make but overall, this is very livable, feels roomy and easily moved. I think the main thing I would change would be a regular toilet and a better hand-held shower. Nicely done!

I would add that that little wood burning fireplace is adorable! Wouldn’t it be nice if someone made one that small that still had enough room on the top to put a kettle for hot water? And the little wood storage underneath? Cute!

You actually can with this one, especially if you get the larger model Grizzly and not the really tiny Cub model. You can check out some YouTube videos showing it off being used for various tasks, including cooking. Some examples you can look up (would post links but with the site spam filter it can take up to a few days before someone approves it to be viewable)…

-Let New Adventures Begin: Cooking with the Cubic Mini Wood Stove OVEN :: Grizzly In a Tiny House on Wheels :: Winter Warmth

They’re using the “CUBIC Mini Stove – Grizzly – Mounts and Accessories (Mini Roaster – CB-7200)” to cook with in the video that’s an accessory you can get for the Grizzly model and it’s available on Amazon…

-Prepping Ohio: Cooking on the Cubic Mini wood stove

The little rail on top can be removed but basically you can adopt camping cookware for items that can fit on top, or add a campfire metal griddle/hot plate that you can just lay on top to give you more surface area to work with…

-skip luck: Cubic mini stove cooking and how to use it without any trouble on rainy day

And there’s others going back a few years, it’s a pretty popular option and plenty of people have figured out ways to make more use out of it…

There’s plenty of room to put a jug on top of the stove. Only problem I can see is if you are a really short person. But then you’d customise it to your needs.
