I’d take the garage & make that the home. Then gut the house & turn into a storage shed. Doing that would make more sense then what it is now, the house is way,
    way to dark

That was my exact thought. I don’t care for that A-Frame.

I’ve lived in an A frame and hated it, my neck still tilts to one side and that was 40 years ago. There is so much wasted space behind furniture placed against walls.

Add some windows both up and down, and some light paint and that would brighten up the place a lot. As is, way too dark. Otherwise, would be a nice homestead for a large garden and a few animals.

As previous comments have noted. Too dark. Way, way too dark. 2nd story is too cramped. Unless you are a contortionist. Most (all?) senior citizens would struggle with house.

Probably not a good investment. LaGrange is kind of a nondescript part of NC. It’s actually losing population, which is a bad sign in the Carolinas, where both states have been experiencing major growth for the past 20 or so years.

this place is perfect me I am ready to move by september , I love A frames because I am single, slender and see things differently than most people who lack gratitiude , the roof suits me fine , I like darkness for a living space, it’s restful and the acreage is pleasant and has great potential . I am an artist and need the garaeg for my large paintings please let me know when I can move in ! Can I buy online ?
