This is a beautiful little slice of history! Stay in this real train caboose that’s been turned into an Airbnb in Massachusetts! The interior of the space is creamy white with retro pops of red that mimic the red exterior of the caboose.

Inside there’s a tiny bathroom and kitchen to make your stay comfortable, and two sets of bunk beds in the back for guests to sleep in. The cupola has train seats in it, where you can sit and pretend you’re headed West! Too fun!

Meet Leonie, and her gorgeous DIY tiny house that she built with her father! She lives on a special lot of land the local council set aside for tiny homes for the next decade, and because she’s stationary she can have a “typical” job with an affordable rent!

We had the privilege of interviewing her this week, and she shared about the 2.5-year process of building her home and securing land, as well as the difficulties that can arise with some neighbors. Enjoy hearing her story and touring her beautiful home below!

I don’t know that I’ve seen a home of this size for such a great price in a long time! Built for a family of 7, this tiny house has THREE different loft bedrooms to give everyone a cozy spot to sleep. It is extra tall, at 14 ft. 6 in., which means it requires a special permit to transport, but it also has more headroom in those lofts.

The first floor has a cozy living room with a built-in couch that makes a perfect reading nook, and a custom table and chairs adjacent to the kitchen. The oven and fridge are apartment-sized and functional for a family. Finally, the bathroom has a residential toilet and a regular shower stall. You can purchase it in Breckenridge, Texas for $55K.
