No matter what, moving into a tiny house on wheels requires some sacrifices. But if a luxurious shower experience is something on your “must-have” list, then the 300 square foot Orchid from New Frontier Tiny Homes should be on your short-list. Designer David Latimer (@davidlatimer_ on Instagram) managed to include a full-size shower in this 32-foot model.

This THOW sleeps four: Two in the king-sized loft and two in a pull-out sofa bed on the main level. The LED valance lighting is warm and dimmable and the skylights, french doors, and garage-door window let plenty of natural light in during the day. Please enjoy the photo tour below, and be sure to check out more from New Frontier Tiny Homes.

This is a budget tiny house by New Frontier Tiny Homes, who is not really well-known for affordable tiny homes. Instead, they are known for some of the most luxurious tiny homes ever built. Like The CorneliaThe Escher, and The Alpha Tiny House, just to name a few.

It’s not the most affordable tiny house you can find, but it is a high-quality home. Please take a look and let me know what you think? This tiny house is called The Luna.

This is the Escher Tiny House on Wheels by New Frontier Tiny Homes. This house was designed and built to suit a couple with a baby (as their full-time home).

It’s an incredible custom tiny house built on a gooseneck trailer featuring large windows and a garage door that opens up to the outdoors. What do you think, could you see yourself raising a baby here for a few years?

This is the Wright family, the first clients of David Latimer at New Frontier Tiny Homes, who lost their tiny house in the wildfires that ripped through Boulder Creek, CA. We did a post about their house that they’ve been using as an Airbnb for some time. Now that income is gone, as well as many family heirlooms and possessions. Latimer has set up a GoFundMe account for the family here.

The Wrights couldn’t find an insurance provider to cover their tiny house in case of wildfires, which means this is a complete loss. They found out about the devastation on the same day their new daughter was born.

They recently moved to North Carolina and have a home there, so they are, thankfully, safe and housed at the moment. That said, they could use our support! Consider donating here.

While climbing into the top bunk might have been fun when we were kids, it’s much less appealing as an adult. Loft bedrooms are a great option in tiny houses because they allow for maximization of space, BUT they have their drawbacks — especially if you have any mobility issues.

That’s why we decided to compile a list some of the best tiny houses with downstairs bedroom options we could find! We made a similar list back in 2016, but we wanted to make a part two with 52 more awesome examples of ground-floor sleeping options. From Murphy Beds to slide-out beds to full bedrooms, you’ll find it all in the list below!

Let us know which one is your favorite!

This is Ida and her gorgeous Mikrohus (Tiny House) in Norway. Originally from Sweden, she lives on the edge of a farm with her beautiful cat Teo, enjoying nature and simple living.

Her home was built by Norske Mikrohus and Ida (@mikrohus_4seasons on Instagram) has done a lovely job decorating it to match her minimalist lifestyle. Living tiny has not only allowed her to have a more sustainable life but it’s also saved her a lot of money. We interviewed her so check out our Q&A at the end of the post to learn more about why she went tiny. Enjoy!
