Seth and Emily are a remarkable couple, parents to four young children and awesome entrepreneurs who build amazing container vacation homes full-time! Their latest creation — the Roca — sits between two mossy cliffs in Hocking Hills, Ohio.
This wild home is made up of two 40-foot containers and one 20-foot container. It sleeps 5, has an epic spiral staircase, and just wait until you see the fantastic decor! There’s a deck with a hot tub overlooking the valley as well. I want to live here! How about you?
Here’s a magical little barn conversion in North Carolina with a sleek modern farmhouse interior that’s all the rage these days! You walk into the main living space with a chaise lounge, TV on a swivel, and the staircase up to the loft bedroom that includes a queen-sized bed.
There’s an L-shaped kitchen at the back of the barn, and next to it is a little bathroom with a shower and toilet. This is such a great example of what can be done with a shed kit! Would you live in a shed-turned-tiny house?
This two-bedroom cabin near the Cascade Mountains was built by Nick out of two 40-foot shipping containers. He had one container cut in half and the other cantilevered over them to create a unique profile. It even allows for a balcony with a two-person hot tub on the second floor.
The first floor of the cabin has a cozy living area with a modern electric fireplace and a large kitchen with all the necessary appliances. Nick didn’t skimp out on materials, with this build costing nearly $250K and making for a truly luxurious vacation stay!
We’ve recently seen many wonderful, functional tiny homes right around that 30-foot length. It seems to be just long enough to allow for a bed on the first floor while still including living room, kitchen, and bathroom space.
There’s a small loft that would work great for storage and a lovely ceiling fan! The bathroom has space for laundry hookups along with a shower stall and residential toilet. It’s for sale in Utah — what do you think of this layout?
This is the Evolution RV tiny house by City Design. From some angles, this tiny house looks like it doesn’t have windows, but it most definitely does! It has various window slits and the rear doors swing wide open making it a great option for a traveling artist.
The tiny house is off-grid ready and built on a 20-foot trailer with water tanks and a solar system. It’s listed for $35,000 out of Lake Havasu, Arizona on Tiny House Listings. What do you think of this tiny house?
This the Beach Bohemian tiny house on wheels by Tiny Heirloom and it has a first-floor bedroom with bunk beds! It also features a rear-entry way which happens to be slightly covered thanks to the cantilevered loft area directly over the entrance. I really like the yellow french doors too, inside, they are contrasted with red which is pretty cool.
Stepping inside, you run right into the living area and the kitchen. You’ll also find bunk beds on the main level, a full bathroom with a composting toilet, and a very livable tiny home on wheels overall, don’t you think? Bravo, Tiny Heirloom! 🙏🎉
Technically the trailer base is 34′ long, but they wanted a four foot cantilever over the tongue that would serve as a “walk in closet”, so in the end the house averages out to 36′ long.
