I really like what I see. It looks like a comfortable home. I do wish there were a floor plan and/or the photos were captioned, i.e. “looking into the living room from the front door”, but captions weren’t available on the Estately site either.

I must admit to having a bit of a heart fibrillation when I saw the price, but when I saw that the property is 6 acres more or less, it made sense. I envy the person(s) who end up living there.

Thanks for the tip about the captions! And yes, I envy them too – what a beautiful location! 🙂 — Tiny House Talk Team

Odd looking paneling. through out.. kitchen cabinets and ceilings has that unfinished look…I wonder if that all was done on purpose. or to be sold as a as is…

I think it was done on purpose as part of the rustic theme 🙂 It looks like galvanized steel to me. Very fun! — Tiny House Talk Team

Clever little house for certain particular taste. Reminds me of some of the Jamaican’s mountain side homes. I have a great appreciation for the tiny and in my case, small house movement.
However, many of us have been watching the price point of these homes sky rocket into absurdity. I can see nothing about the materials or the property that would make this 600 sq. ft. house worthy of a $159,900 price tag. I’m sorry, if this sounds blunt or rude. All to often lately I have had to defend the movement to my peers as they point out the “hypocritical” concepts of the tiny house movement. Number one on the list: price point. I also realize what one wants to sell their home for is totally their business. Not mine and certainly not Tiny House Talk.

I think the land is what makes this house the price. And honestly considering the cost of homes like this in other areas of the country (the coasts), this seems like a great price for what you are getting. A beautiful home and plenty of property in a lovely state. 🙂 That being said, affordability is super important! But like you said, if people want to sell their homes for more, we can’t stop them — Tiny House Talk Team

Your right…! We can’t stop them from over pricing, But we can try to discourage them by letting them know we are not taking it any more either… We are not sheep, but yet we follow everyone else as if we were, and if you really care about over pricing take a stand and don’t follow the trend….!

Paneling? Those walls are corrugated metal.

    No thanks.

Yeah, megafugly. Why would anybody DO that?

It’s not the house that’s worth $159,900, it’s the land.

I agree 🙂 Wonderful land! — Tiny House Talk Team

Not one of Tiny House Talk’s best postings… I don’t know, maybe it’s the mustard yellow house paint, but I can’t really find anything that really bowls me over with this house… No offence to it’s owner with the comments, best of luck anyway…!
