58 Years Young and Loving Blinged-Out VanLife!

After her divorce five years ago, Bev decided to satisfy her wanderlust and travel the world. Of course, the pandemic shut down her international travel plans last year. One of her friends offered to sell Bev her van — and after camping with her friend to try it out, Bev decided to go for it!

She has possibly the most glamorous van we’ve ever featured here — every inch is bedazzled with rhinestones, tassles or something “pretty” to make it look and feel like Bev’s personal space. The cream and tan interior feels light and feminine, and it houses everything she needs.

Inside you’ll find her beautified toilet, sparkly sink set-up, and even a Brad Pitt pillow that goes wherever she goes. Enjoy the complete tour from Tiny Home Tours below! You rock, Bev!

I love your van. Can you tell me what generator you have? You mentioned that it runs quiet. Thanks for showing your cute house.

Now I’m not a van person. I couldn’t put up with the crouching etc.

Externally, the scroll work is cool. Internally however… whew!, I think its cluttered, cramped and hard to get around. YMMV.

Eric she did this for her not YOU. She is a woman and it has everything she would need. It’s done so tastefully. Good Job. I am a designer and found her video to be inspiring. I can see her intelligence by how she has configured her space. The finishing touches are so pleasing to the eye. Thanks for sharing Bev.

Well that’s obvious she did it for her. I was “commenting” on it and pointing out that it might not suit some people. And having come across 1 person who made that type of mistake I am just “warning” others to beware.

Yup, just looks cluttered and dirty. Can’t see anything comfortable about jamming so much in such a small space. Nasty.

Well, you can argue it looks cluttered, opinions will vary, but it definitely doesn’t look dirty. She clearly keeps it well maintained with nothing there remotely dirty or unkempt. It’s just her personal style, which everyone is entitled to have and doesn’t have to appeal to anyone else but her as it’s her quality of life that it effects. Regardless, she has everything she needs and doesn’t have to use much effort to use it, which works well for her and that’s always the point of any home, that it works for the owner and provides them with what they need from it…

Besides, the point of van life is not the interior but the freedom to go anywhere and explore anything you want. It’s a means to a lifestyle of experiences and not the goal itself… Really, does she look like she’s suffering one iota?

I would like to know how much it cost her for the van and to have it converted.

Oh my gosh! I love it! Bev, you are my new idol. Eveything is so cleverly organized and practical, yet still so beautiful. Love the decals on the exterior. Safe travels to you : )

Great video. The light colors and sparkles inside are cheerful. Love how she’s made use of the toilet as a an ottoman—lots of people tuck these cassette toilets under something, but her solution is much handier, and yet it doesn’t look like a toilet. I enjoyed her presentation; I’d like to know her.

Way to much crap in there. Cannot imagine the mess when travelling in it. Very very tacky in such a small space. You can’t move without knocking something over or down. Nope, not pleasant at all. About the only thing missing is the fur toilet seat cover and carpet.
