    What is the price of the forestry cabin

  • Patricia Schneider August 17, 2016, 5:10 pm

    I really do love this cabin. It reminds me of cabins we stayed in when we were younger. It is surprisingly roomy inside, along with having a full kitchen and indoor bathroom. This would be a great cabin for a smaller family.

    I also like the fact that it is sort of remote, but the days when we can live in remote areas without medical facilities close by are over with. Alas, many times growing old means giving up so many things you loved as a young person. Whoever buys this, enjoy every moment of it while you are young, or younger.

    Finally, a place that is totally my taste! I can see knitting, stitching or reading in this wonderful wood-filled place. I just love it!! I would probably add more color with accents, esp red.

      The price is $120,000. Plainly written in the description. Ask an intelligent question please.

    What does “forest service cabin” actually mean? Does it come with land?

  • Mary August 18, 2016, 1:31 am

    Being a California native, I always knew people here were a little off but the price for this cabin just proves it.

      buy the place, you will fit right in. Watch out for the squirrels they will carry you away.

    Very cute, keep in mind, generally you don’t buy the land the house is on, it’s only leased.

    • Gigi October 1, 2016, 10:41 pm

      Interesting. There is no mention of leasing land only an HOA fee that includes water. Alex, can you check this out? What’s the story on the land?

  • jake October 2, 2016, 4:41 am

    Some facts for questions.
    HOA = $150/year
    Land = Zero Sq Ft.
    Vicinity of South Lake Tahoe
    Walking distance to Sierra at Tahoe’s West Bowl ski lift

    I did not notice how much land is involved in the sale, as I would think not much seeing how it is on either federal or state land…! But still I would have to believe they don’t expect you to move the house do they…? I mean it’s not like you can fold it up and when you get to your site it will look the same as it was in the pictures right…?
