Cute exterior, fire pit, shower and other amenities.
“No” to the interior. To me, at least, it seems busy and just too small.
Gail in #1 comment really likes this cabin, so there we go! Each to her/his own. 😉🏡

I could not live in this. Exist maybe, but definitely not live…

Advancing mobility issues totally preclude anything like this for me.

Even if I was 20 years old I wouldn’t have even entertained it.

But, for some people it wouldn’t be an issue. Obviously the people currently in it…

Very sharp looking tiny home. The only thing I would really want to change is adding an outhouse for more private moments.

I love it! It’s got all the basic essentials AND manages to be bright and happy looking. I’d love to be able to build these as transitional housing for homeless people.

This is real nice. Looks cozy. Couldn’t handle the outside shower. As the metal in my arms hurt all the time. Is all I can do to function. Summer is worse. Inside shower could be done. We have no kids, just the two of us. My hubby isn’t buying the tiny house life style. I won’t give up. Out side is nice. Pretty big inside. Real nice micro house. BBQ pit is sharp.

Maybe you should look at something along the lines of this… https://www.green-building.com/projects/river-road/

Has been showcased on here some years back and if I came into some money I’d definitely build this, or a modification of it.

Eric, thank you so much for posting the link to Nir Pearlson’s website. I absolutely loved this house when it was posted a few years ago, and am delighted to find a whole collection of tiny house designs on their website this time around. Browsing through them now, but this design is a perfect small house that it will be hard for them to top!

It’s interesting the range of buildings that he has created. Unfortunately very few pictures to get a sense of the whole buildings. I have seen some others that are more residential, unfortunately I am unable to recall where they are and a search has not been helpful. I must be getting o-l-d.

It’s a hermit cottage! It’s wonderful. Of course it’s missing things; it’s been stripped to bare essentials (which for me was one of the goals of small sizing). Nicely done. Shelter from the storm, running water, dry warm bed. All we need…sometimes.

Love this! Everything you need is right there. This would even be perfect for the backyard of a normal sized house as a guest hut or just a place to get away from everything and decompress! Perfectly basic!

Let’s cut to the chase with the basics, again. It’s in Oregon. Sometimes it gets chilly there. Where is the heater? Does it have one?

    • Natalie C. McKee
      August 5, 2020, 10:15 am

Heating is mentioned in the description on Airbnb, so I’m sure it has something.

    • Eric
      August 5, 2020, 8:45 pm

It’s got gas heating for the shower water so I’d assume that it could also be used to heat the inside. And the cottage being so very small it wouldn’t take much to do that either.

Thank you for the information. I didn’t realize that I needed to go to “Airbnb” to find the details and on this site there wasn’t complete information.

If the door were closed, I would maybe last five minutes in that thing. Not for me. I love my 2200 square feet, thank you.

    • Eric
      December 26, 2021, 3:20 pm

And that’s fine. But this is a “Tiny House” website so that is what it showcases. Different strokes for different folks. For me 2200 sq ft is overkill. Especially if there is only 1 or 2 people in the household.

Very cute! Nice little get-away. I love her whole “village” of tiny homes.
