Full-size appliances too! Watch the FULL video tour below.

If you look closely, you can see this tiny house is built on a gooseneck trailer and they simply used that platform as the BBQ deck. Do you like this idea or would you rather use it for more indoor space?

No. The Goose neck would be better utilized for stand up head room in the main bedroom if you are not a whipper snapper built like a Jack rabbit…

I live in Michigan. I would like to know more about tiny houses. I would like to put one on a relative’s property. Can one hold up in Michigan weather. I have many questions.

@Annette, just browse the site. There are several tiny house builders in Canada, and if a TH is built for a Canadian winter, it is sure to be able to handle a Michigan winter.

Three names come to mind: Nelson, Robinson, and Minimaliste. Maybe Baluchon also, but I can’t remember whether they’re in Canada or France.

You may also want to check out Ariel’s Fy Nyth tiny house. It’s a beefed-up Tumbleweed Cypress located in the Wyoming mountains, so she’s had her share of wicked winters. https://tinyhousetalk.com/ariels-fy-nyth-tumbleweed-tiny-house-on-wheels/

This is a very nice roomy Tiny House, and I love the Blue Exterior with the white trim and the red door. That and the couch give it a Patriotic feel. The white cabinets and counter tops are beautiful. I love the wall with the fireplace, and that electric fireplace with the coloring crystal stones are beautiful. That is my favorite kind of electric fireplace. The Big screen TV is nice above and the little office/spare room. The Master loft with the storage space is nice. My other favorite part is the little deck above the fifth wheel hook up. The whole house is awesome. Love the arched windows and the arched door, gives it some class. Happy trails and enjoy spending time in it.

I think that due to this shutdown we are having and millions of people losing their jobs as well as their monthly incomes is going to make the Tiny House market really take off in the coming years. People are going to realize that they do not need to have a huge, expensive McMansion to live in and to be comfortable. This tiny house has just about everything one needs in a home to be comfortable and efficient.

So we were told by our builders that we were only allowed to put an RV certified oven in our Tiny in order for our house to get certified. But I continue to see Tinys with full size ranges. Can anyone explain this to me?!

Well, to begin with RV certification is optional for Tiny Houses. So not all will be limited by those requirements and the limitations that the certification imposes. Only by the safety standards that anything traveling along roads and especially the national highways systems are required to abide by, which can limit some options but usually not as strictly as a certification requires…

Mind, not all tiny houses are going to be moved once placed at a location. Some can even be placed on a foundation where they can meet the local code and zoning requirements. So their designs don’t necessarily need to be limited to the needs of a movable structure like an RV does…

However, appliances for RV’s aren’t limited to only small appliances. Range of choices are limited but you can see examples of larger appliances in higher end and larger 5th Wheels and Class A’s.
